Instants are rare Warframe cosmetics that will add some form of visual effect to your Warframe. Some will affect the Warframe itself, while others will cause some sort of visual effect as you walk. In a game with deep visual customization options, these add another way for your Warframe to stand out from the crowd.
How to get each instant
Seeding stage
This will cause your Warframe to leave grassy footprints behind it. You can get this instant by completing the C rotation of Arbitrations. In arbitrations, rotation C is every rotation of the third.

Fiery stage
This will cause your Warframe to leave flaming footprints behind it. Can be obtained from Elite Sanctuary Onslaught on Rotation C.

Freezing step
This will cause your Warframe to leave ice cubes behind. Can be obtained by killing the Exploit Orb.

Shocking step
Your Warframe will leave electrical imprints behind it. Can be obtained by killing the Exploit Orb.

Bleeding body
This will cause your Warframe to shed large blood cells. Can be obtained from Hexis Arbitrators for 20 Vitus Essence.

Smoke the body
This will cause your Warframe to emit smoke. Can be obtained by killing the Stalker.

Spring stage
This limited-time instant will cause your Warframe to leave little Easter Eggs behind. Can be obtained in the Marketplace for 5000 Credits from April 17 through April 24, 2019.
Fae Road
This instinct can be obtained when you enable two-step authentication in-game.
Eidolon stage
Awarded at rank 15 in the Nightwave intermission.
Spore
Awarded at Rank 19 of Nightwave Series 2.
Vengeful instants
Awarded with a random drop after killing a Kuva Lich. You have a 10% chance to drop any of the following, depending on their weapon damage type.
- Vengeful Charge
- Vengeful sweater
- Vengeful Flame
- Vengeful toxin
- Vengeful thrill
- Vengeful shock wave
- Vengeful trickster
Naberus
Limited availability instants that could only be obtained by completing the Sanctified Falme Tactical Alert during the Halloween 2019 event.
Tenebrous
Can be obtained from Sentient Containers on the Sentient Anomaly in Veil Proxima during Railjack missions.
