The Ignis Wraith has been high end in Warframe for a long time now. It's not Tenno's weapon thinking, it simply unleashes an explosion of flames on his enemies. It is perfect for quickly cutting through large groups. It deals inherent heat damage but, like all weapons, can be modified to generate other types of elements. It also combines strong critical chance and status chance, making it ideal for fighting all types of enemies.
Warframe – Ignis Wraith Build 2019
This is the Ignis Wraith build that I have used for quite a while and never felt the need to give it a shot, no matter what enemies I fight. The Ignis Wraith isn't much of a boss fighting weapon, but is one of the best in the game for fools, even at the highest levels. You want to back it up with a powerful secondary weapon for good damage on a single target.
The large caliber, serration, and slit chamber all provide general base buffs, while Vital Sense increases critical hit damage generated by the weapon. While some people choose to use a critical chance boost mod, I prefer to use the malignant mod to add more toxin to the mix and increase the status chance. I find this more useful in higher level content.
Infected Clip and Stormbringer combine with Malining Force toxin to increase corrosive weapon damage, making it a great way to cut Grineer's armor.
Finally, I like to use Speed Trigger for several reasons. Firstly, it gives an overall increase in DPS due to the increased rate of fire. It also means that you have an increased probability of critical hits and an increase in the number of Status ticks. This makes it a great mod to put on your Ignis Wraith.
This build will hit anything on the star map and easily pass through enemies for up to about three exits. You'll need five Forma to get a build like this, but it's worth it.
