Warframe - Railjack Research Guide

Upgraded versions of Sigma gear can be researched in the Dry Dock once you've built a Railjack.

Remember that search terminal you used to search for Cephalon Cy? Once your Railjack is finished, its blueprint will be replaced with a handful of upgrades from your original Sigma gear. The research here is shared among clan members (although, like other research, each person is responsible for cooking their own completed blueprint), so putting them in the oven will benefit anyone looking to jump into the new one. update. Any member of your clan who has access to their Railjack can contribute to the cost of resources, and currently you need standard non-Railjack materials to get these upgrades.

Naturally you will need to contribute more research the higher your Clan Rank, but at Ghost level I found most material requirements to be between eight and ten thousand per common item, with "rarer" materials. holding on to about one per search. Once the contributions have been made, the research will begin and it will take three days. So far we're in pretty standard territory, but there is a minor wrinkle.

Railjack components and weaponry reach maximum power of MK III, and the first set of research in your dojo is for MK I equipment. Once an item is fully researched, you will unlock the next level, which will require more materials to cook, but will offer better plans. The trick here to push each element to MK III. An MK I or MK II blueprint will always prove useful in the early parts of Railjack, but each of these blueprints requires an exorbitant amount of Railjack materials to cook.

The idea here is simple: hitch up on someone else's Railjack as you cook and collect as much Railjack material as you can. You will also increase your intrinsic abilities, obtain useful wreckage and avionics while doing this. By the time you finish cooking all of your Sigma MK III gear, you'll either have better gear through good luck, or you'll have enough materials to craft the upgraded Sigma components and weaponry. From there, you can equip your Railjack and pilot it in most missions without it constantly falling apart, and capable of dealing useful damage to enemy units.

I say this because at the time of writing this guide I have plugged countless hours into Railjack and the best reactor I have found thanks to the wreckage has an avionics capacity of +28. The Sigma MK III reactor increased my avionics capacity by +50. Do not sleep on this equipment! RNGesus is finicky in Empyrean, and not only will this gear help Clanmates in its early days, but it will help you sidestep bad luck while you try to build that perfect Apoc Cannon or +100 Reactor. Look for your Sigma equipment!
