To earn the rank with the new Syndicate Vox Solaris in Warframe, you will need the Toroids farm. Tori can be difficult to find, but they appear in different places on the map and under different circumstances. Toroids are also needed to build Warframes such as Baruuk, Garuda, and Hildryn.
Where to grow tori
To get the standing position with Vox Solaris, you will need to find tori. Different types of toroids will drop from enemies in the following areas;
- Vega Toroid - drop enemies in Spaceport
- Calda Toroid - drop enemies at Enrichment Labs
- Sola Toroid - drop enemies at the temple of profit
- Crisma Toroid - fall of the profiteer during phase 4 of the Heist
- Lazulite Toroid - Drop from the exploiter's orb upon death
To farm non-combatant Toroids, head to one of the areas above and start killing enemies. Do not destroy the reinforcement beacons, as this would allow an almost endless stream of enemies to flood the area. These drops are very rare, so it may take a while to get them. Make sure you continuously move around areas where enemies are dying, so you don't miss a thing. You might also want to bring a Vacuum style mod for your Sentinel or pet, in order to pick them up more easily.
I would also advise you to do this in a full team of four. The more members of your team you have, the more enemies will appear and the faster you will be able to kill them, which will make cultivation of those rare drops much faster. Each enemy in Spaceport, Enrichment Labs, and the Temple of Profit has approximately a 2% chance to drop a Toroid upon death.
Toroids can also be found in some caves scattered around Orb Vallis. It appears to be a random occurrence, so can be a bit hit and miss. They're also pretty well hidden in caves, but once you find them you'll know where to check in the future. When farming Toroids you should try to bring in a Smeeta Kavat, as her Charm ability will increase the amount of Toroids you pick up. You can also use Warframes such as Nekros with Desecrate, Khora with Strangledome Pilfering, Hydoid with A Swarm of Pilfering, or Ivara's Prowl to increase the number of drops you receive.
