Watch Dogs: Legion - How to Upgrade Weapons

DedSec weapons are the only ones you can upgrade in Watch Dogs: Legion.

Due to how the Operatives system works, many weapons in the game are assigned as unique operator skills. If you want to use a light machine gun, for example, you will want to recruit a soldier from Albion. This doesn't mean that you don't have Universal Weapons for your Agents to equip, because you do have some in the Tech Tree.

There are four non-lethal DedSec weapons in the tech tree that can be upgraded with Tech Points earned in-game. Each agent comes with two ranged weapon slots, and recruits who have a ranged weapon as a skill can still equip a second DedSec weapon. Plus, these can be redeemed at any time, as long as you're not in a restricted area or being sued by the law. Melee weapons do not occupy a weapon slot.

The four Dedsec weapons, their upgrades, and the associated costs to upgrade those weapons are:

• Pistolet LTL 68P DedSec
  • Level 1 - Close-range, non-lethal personal handgun.
    • Unlocked at the start of the game.
  • Level 2 - Increases magazine capacity to 15.

• MP9 DedSec SMG
  • Level 1 - Fully automatic, non-lethal submachine gun.
    • 20 Technology
  • Level 2 - Increases magazine capacity to 20.

  • Level 3 - Increased reload speed.
    • 30 Technology
• LTL SG (shotgun)
  • Level 1 - A non-lethal shotgun designed for close range attacks.
    • 20 Technology
  • Level 2 - Increases store capacity to 7.
    • 25 Technology
  • Level 3 - Increases reload speed.
    • 35 Technology
• DedSec Grenade Launcher
  • Level 1 - Slow-firing anti-drone weapon that launches shock rounds for a wide area of ​​effect.
    • 30 Technology
  • Level 2 - Increases magazine capacity to 2.
    • 35 Technology
  • Level 3 - Increases the maximum number of grenades carried by 2 turns.
