Halo: Achieve makes its way to the PC through Halo: The Master Chief Collection. You can play it through Steam, Microsoft Store, or pick it up if you have access to the Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription service.
While Halo: Reach Originally released in 2010, Microsoft has gone to great lengths to update it for modern consoles and PCs to deliver the highest quality experience for any gamer. To make everything look fantastic, gamers want to know how powerful a PC has to be to be able to play the game on day one.
The minimum system requirements to run the game are:
- 20 GB of available space on your hard drive
- Windows 7 operating system
- 8 GB of RAM
- AMD HD 6850 or NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 graphics card
- AMD Phenom II X4 960T or an Intel i3550 processor
- DirectX 11 and Direct3D feature level 11.1
The recommended conditions for running Halo: Reach in the best settings are as follows:

- Windows 10 operating system
- 8 GB of RAM
- AMD Radeon R7 360 or NVIDIA GTX 560 TI graphics card
- AMD FX-4100 or an Intel i7-870 processor
- DirectX 11 and Direct3D feature level 11.1
The jump between the minimum and recommended requirements for Halo: Achieve isn't too high. Those who meet the minimum requirements to run Halo: Achieve can expect to play the game at the highest resolution and highest graphics on their PC. You may want to tweak and tweak these settings depending on how the online game of Halo: Reaching works and what feels best to fight against other players.
You can pick up the game through Steam or the Microsoft Store for the PC version. If you have access to Xbox Game Pass for PC Membership, you should be able to pick up and start downloading Halo: Go anytime, as long as you hold your membership and keep it active.
