Destiny 2's Dawning event is happening in the game. There's a lot to do, from special daily bounties to everyone's cooking, to a sweet festive treat. Dawning started on December 17th and will end on January 14th with the usual weekly reset.
The event gives you ample time to complete your quests and collect the two available sparrows in the form of Dawning Cheer and Apline Dash.
The Dawning event is also a fantastic time to upgrade your Season of Dawn Battle Pass. Eva Levante offers Daily Dawning Bounties that will reward double experience, and they're usually straightforward to complete.
Keep in mind that one of the main parts of Dawning is making great snacks for various NPCs in the game, and you will need to get plenty of Dawning Essence and ingredients. You will also need to know all the recipes for the different snacks you will be handing out and where to get them.
There are also a large amount of event-specific Triumphs that you'll need to complete by January 14th. You will need to complete and claim these Triumphs before the weekly reset on January 14, after which they will be locked, and you will no longer be able to progress them.
