At the start of the Cindered Shadows DLC for Fire Emblem: Three Houses, you will encounter a character called Aelfric. Aelfric has taken care of the Ashen Wolves and the people who live in the Abyss, and when you talk to him, it turns out he has known your parents before.
You can ask Aelfric about your mother, a woman called Sitri. Aelfric describes Sitri as calm and wise, saying he would often see her in the library with her nose buried in a book. He tells you that, like most other people in the monastery, she thought Jeralt was a hero because he spent his days looking after his knights and teaching the children of the monastery.
Despite this, he says it surprised him when Jeralt and Sitri got married, because he thought they were so different. Jeralt had always gone out with his knights, going on quest and adventures, while Sitri never left the monastery, was as fragile as Jeralt was strong, and spoke to only a few people. He goes on to say that Sitri's eyes lit up when she looked at Jeralt, and she loved listening to his stories from the outside world.
