What are mystery points and how to earn them
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim really doesn't have a lot of collectibles to find during the game, but you can discover a lot more lore of the in-game world through the Analysis section of the game. This contains a number of known files. under the name of mystery files which are locked at the beginning, you have to work to unlock them each with what are called mystery points.
Mystery Points can be used to unlock one of these mystery files at a time, with the ultimate goal being to unlock them all to learn all you can about this world in 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. You may not be sure exactly how to earn these Mystery Points, which you will definitely need.
First of all, just playing the game will earn you a number of Mystery Points. This is because they are rewarded for successfully completing each destruction mission. That's pretty much a guarantee that will start to add up with the mystery points. However, we'll need a lot more than that if you're going to unlock all of the game's mystery files.
Your first instinct here might be to try and get the bonuses for each destruction stage, thinking that they might provide you with additional mystery points. However, that won't really help you. Instead, you have to worry about upgrading the Meta Terminal, which you access by tapping Triangle in the team selection menu.
When you get here you will notice that you can not only upgrade this terminal by spending Meta-Chips, but look in the lower right corner for the score. Increasing that score here can also be a good way to earn extra Mystery Points, so feel free to replay the levels if necessary and purchase the upgrades to get that score higher each time.
