You can acquire various useful benefits from the various Greek gods who try to escape from the underworld in Hades. Usually these perks come in the form of a Normal, Rare, or Epic strain. There are 12 Legendary Perks in the game, and each of them has a handful of Requirements that you must complete before unlocking them. If you do not meet these requirements, there is no chance that they will be waived for you during a race.
Once you meet these conditions, you can use various Souvenirs to increase the chance of knocking them down, use Eurydice's Refreshing Nectar or Breadcrumbs available at the Well of Charon.
All the legendary advantages
Here are the 12 Legendary Perks of Hades and the conditions that must be met before they have a chance to fall.
Bad News (Hermès)
Your cast deals more damage to enemies with the melting crystal on them. Your first hit is + 50%. Requires one of each:
- Flood Shot, Poseidon Help, Tempest Flourish, Temptest Strike or Tidal Dash
- Breaking Wave, Razor Shoals ou Typhoon’s Fury
Black Out (Dionysos)
Enemies afflicted by Hangovers take additional damage in Festive Fog. Haze combo damage is now 100%. Requires one of each:
- Bad influence, help from Dionysus, blossoming drunk, strike drunk, feeling numb or peer pressure
- High Tolerance or Trippy Shot
Challenge (Chaos)
Gain +1 Death Defiance (that escape attempt). The slot disappears after you die during this race. However, you can replenish it using Styx's Kiss, as if it were a normal location. Requires any Chaos Perk to drop.
Divine protection (Athena)
You have a barrier that negates the damage received. The barrier has a 20 second cooldown, and any attack you manage to block doesn't remove it. Requires two of these benefits:
- Divine Strike, Divine Bloom, Divine Shot, or Holy Shield
- Brilliant pinned
Fully loaded (Artemis)
You gain a Cast Crystal for your Cast, and this increases your ammo by two. Requires two of the following benefits:
- Hunter's Mark, Exit Wound, or Support Shot
Superior recall (Hermès)
Your broadcast will come back to you automatically after it is dropped. You have to choose these advantages, and one of the last:
- Hell Soul Mirror ability is active
- Flurry Cast ou Quick Reload
Huge catch (Poseidon)
You have a much better chance of finding a fishing spot in each of the chambers. Your chance of spawning fish increases by 20%, and the perk removes the requirement to spawn chambers since the last fishing point. You must have collected these two benefits:
- Ocean Bounty and Sunken Treasure
Second wave (Poseidon)
Your knockdown effects knock enemies back a second time after the initial push. You must have one of each of the following:
- Flood Shot, Poseidon's Aid, Tempest Flourish, Tempest Strike or Tidal Dash
- Breaking Wave, Razor Shoals ou Typhoon’s Fury
Splitting bolt (Zeus)
All of your lightning effects create an additional explosion of electricity. The extra bolt does 40 lightning damage, it's a slow spark, has a speed of 500, and bounces five times. You must have one of each of the following benefits:
- Storm lightning
- Double strike or high voltage
Unhealthy Fixation (Aphrodite)
Your weak effects also have a 15% chance to Charm enemies, which lasts for four seconds. You must choose one from each of the following benefit choices:
- Passion Dash, Crush Shot, Heartbreak Strike, Heartbreak Flourish ou Passion Flare
- Emptiness within, sweet abandon or broken resolution
Vicious Cycle (Ares)
Your Blade Rift effects deal more damage for each consecutive hit, and your damage increases by one per hit. You must choose one from each of the following benefit choices:
- Slicing Blow, Blade Dash or Ares' Aid
- Black metal or engulfing vortex
Winter harvest (Demeter)
Enemies affected by cold shatter when they reach 10% of their maximum health and inflict cold nearby. The crash deals 50 area damage. You must choose one from each of the following benefit choices:
- Frost Strike, Frost Flourish, Mistral Dash, Demeter’s Aid ou Snow Burst
- Kill the Arctic Frost or Blast
