How to get a blank name among us
Getting an invisible name in Among Us is as easy as copying and pasting a blank space in the name field. You can't type empty space directly into it, but the game will allow you to copy and paste space with no problem. Just follow the steps below.
- Copy the empty space between the following quotes: "ㅤ"
- Paste the blank space in the Name field in Among Us.
- Enter a match and you will have an invisible name.
This strategy works on both PC and mobile devices. You will be able to tell if it worked if you see the cursor move one space forward after pressing Paste. That means there's a blank space there, and all you have to do from there is load into a match.
It works because it's not a normal old space that you can get by pressing the space bar on your keyboard. It's actually a Unicode symbol that looks like empty space. Since the Unicode symbol is technically considered an acceptable character for the game, it allows you to have an empty name.
Having an invisible name in Among Us doesn't have too many benefits, but there are still a few ways you can help. You can still be identified by your character's color (hardly anyone uses an actual username to refer to other players anyway), but you can hide more easily because you won't have any text floating above your character. Blending in with the surroundings and not standing out can help you kill easily and deflect suspicion on yourself if you are the impostor. If you are a teammate, there is really no benefit to having an invisible name.
