    Everything revolves around Sergei's Head. This weird key piece was once thought to be part of the main Easter Egg quest, but it turns out that it will only earn you a big bonus for completing it. If you find this weird zombie face and don't know what to do with it like I did, then this is what you need. It's a nice little bonus task that you can do while hunting down the Mimics.

    Where to find Sergei's head

    Sergei's head is the key to a side quest for Easter eggs. This is not needed for the main Easter Egg, but you will need a unique key item from the Main Quest to actually use this head. To begin with, you will want find the head after restoring power.

    • Location of Sergei's head: Burnt Defense - In the back right corner, in front of the Eyeball Key Item that you can acquire for the Ray Gun Wonder EE weapon, you will find Sergei's Head Key Item.

    When you take Sergei's head, it temporarily occupies your weapon slot and restricts your movement. You cannot jump, coat, or sprint while holding Sergei's head.

    Plant Sergei's head somewhere you won't forget - you'll have to come back to it much later after completing several main stages of the Easter Egg quest. Before you can use Sergei's Head, you must obtain the Gasoline Trapper Device.

    How to get the gasoline trapper device

    La Gasoline Trapper Device is a key element you get by completing the first steps of the Easter Egg quest. Here's a quick and dirty guide to get you to the gas trapper.

    • Restore power on the map by recharge the 3 ether generators.
    • Talk to Dr Peck in Mission control and talk to Ravenov in the village for win the keycard.
    • Use the keycard on three lockers and collect the chemicals inside. The chemical lockers are located at: Colonel's office, Weapon storage, and Engineering.
    • Go to Field hospital et mix the 3 chemicals. Defeat the Hellhounds that appear.
    • Place chemicals in the dispersion device, then place up dispersal device on the air conditioning unit on the roofs of OPC.

    Finally, talk to dr peck and go to Data center to retrieve the gasoline trapper. This is a one-time key that works like C4 - throw the gas trapper, then double-press [Reload] to activate the device.


    How to get a free benefit

    Once you have Sergei's Head and the Gas Trapper Device, you can complete the side quest. Follow these final steps to get your reward.

    • Grab Sergei head and travel to Field hospital. Place it on the Charging station (near the door near the data center stairs) by now interacting.
    • Throw it away Gas trap and capture any zombie. Make sure the zombie is weakened to trap it.
    • Place the full trap in the charging station next to the head. The head will come to life and tell you the security code.

    You can now go to the office of the Colonel of the Military Command and unlock the safe. The moment you open the safe, Hellhounds will appear - so exit the room, clear the wave, then collect your free perk in the safe.
