Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has a deeply dedicated fan group who love the multiplayer aspect of the series. There's a lot going on with many elements, appealing to those who enjoy intense action and quick movement. However, when something goes wrong with this mode, these players notice it pretty quickly. Right now, many of them are finding that the game's daily multiplayer challenges are not working. Here is what we know about this problem.

Daily challenges allow players to integrate into the game any day of the week and find a clean way to earn experience points. These challenges are usually pretty quick, ensuring that players who can only step in for an hour or two get a decent slice of their level. At this point, whenever players attempt to try out any of these multiplayer games, it doesn't seem to be counting on the meter. The challenge bar remains frozen at zero, no progress has been made.
Fortunately, there is a fix. Because a lot of Call of Duty fans had issues with this issue, they took to Reddit to share about it to see if anyone had a solution. Since so many people were having this issue, they found a workaround in this thread. They have learned to see the progress meter go up at all; they needed to restart their game and then come back into the game to see that it had increased by any amount.
This solution is not something that will remain permanent. There is probably a legitimate developer fix, so gamers don't have to continually enter and exit their Modern Warfare app to see this counter go up. But until then, if gamers aren't interested in manually counting how many times they still have to work on a daily basis, restarting is the best solution.
Hopefully the Infinity Ward team will hear about this patch update soon. At the moment, we haven't seen any differences yet.
