To begin corner stone quest, go to the tower hangar to talk to Saint-14. Choose the corner stone quest option to start the first stage of the quest, Assembly required.
- Note: While you are here I also recommend that you resume the quest, Tribute to the colonies (if you haven't already), because completing the Cornerstone quest will reduce the time it takes to complete the Tribute to the Colonies quest.
Assembly Required Quest Step
- If you have not yet completed the Tribute to the colonies quest, it is recommended that you focus on this goal for the corner stone because you will tackle and unlock some of the objectives of this quest by completing this one first. That being said, you will need to collect the following items for the Assembly required quest step:
- 10 Crucial Fallen Components.
- 10 crucial components of the cabal.
- 10 Crucial Vex Components.
- The above crucial components will be removed from Fallen, Cabal, and Vex enemies that have an orange bar or higher.
- Public events completed for the Tribute to the Colonies quest grant the most effective progress.
- When you have all the necessary parts, return to the tower hangar and talk to Saint-14, who will give you an obelisk to place in the tower.
Complete the pending delivery and activate the tower obelisk
- Go to the tower spawn location where you will see the base of the obelisk.
- Place the Obelisk to activate it.
- When it activates, you will have access to the Tower Obelisk.
- From the Tower Obelisk, you can manage your currently active Obelisk and purchase the following consumables:
- Fractaline Skimmer - 6 per week at 100 Fractaline each, or 600 Fractaline per account
- Timelost Friends - gives an XP boost on Timelost bounties, none of which are recommended for the Empyrean Foundation event because 1) most weapons are not worth the resource, and 2) the target is d 'Use the fractal only as an investment until all Obelisks are at resonance level 11, then do whatever you can to help the community. Hopefully we could actually see this happen!
