Once you've acquired the exotic quest item, the mission itself is pretty straightforward - just find the hidden location that triggers the special Strike variant which is difficult. Here you'll find a quick textual explanation showing exactly where you need to go to complete this fairly straightforward quest.
The Bastion Quest item will appear in Saint-14's inventory if you own a Season Pass on January 28 for the weekly reset. Go get it to get your own Exotic and start this job - or face the Corridors of Time if you want to unlock it early.

Step # 1: Gather Intel Order
To get started, you need to acquire Fallen Intel after completing the next Saint-14 milestone.
- Kill 5 fallen servers
- Kill 5 Fallen Captains
Very easy. Just hunt them down in the thieves' landing zone. Go to Spider to take the next step.
Step # 2: Kill the Aksiniks
Spider will tell you to hunt a Captain Order called Aksiniks. They are located in the Lost Sector of the Empty Reservoir at Thieves's Landing. They are near the end of the sector, where you will normally meet the boss. Kill him and return to Spider.
Step # 3: hard work goals
Like all exotic quests, you will need to complete a boring amount of work. They are all very simple. No secrets here.
- Kill 30 difficult enemies
- Complete 10 Spider Bounties
- Complete 8 public events on the Tangled Shore
Nothing complicated here. All Spider Bounties count toward this goal.
Step # 4: Find the Secret Tomb
Here is the hardest part of the quest - finding the fallen tomb which unlocks a special variant of Strike. To find and interact with the special site, go to Four-horned gulch on the Tangled shore and enter it Lost Sector of the Trapper's Cave.
Reach the waterfall room, then drop into the water at the base of the waterfall. Turn left and watch carefully in the dark for a trail of blue particles - they will lead you directly to the fallen tomb. When you stand near him, interact to complete the stage and launch an enemy ambush.
Stage # 5: Complete The Hallowed Lair, Memento Strike
Once the tomb is discovered and the item is collected, a new typing variant will appear in your director. Look for 'The Hallowed Lair, Memento' - just complete this strike and kill the special Scorn Chieftain to complete the quest and unlock your Exotic Fusion Rifle.
