Destiny 2 - Seraph Tower Public Events Guide

Location of the Séraphin towers

With the Seraph bunkers rotating, the first obstacle to this activity is actually locating the Seraph Tower that you should engage. Just as there are three bunkers, there are also three corresponding Seraph towers. You can find them in the EDZ, on the Moon, and (as of April 7) on Io for a while before the rotation repeats.

If the active Seraph Bunker is in the EDZ area, then you'll want to go to the Seraph Tower located in Winding Cove in the EDZ area, just north of the area's spawn point. If the active bunker is on the Moon, then spawn at the Anchor of Light. If it's time to make the event public on Io, head over to The Rupture. All Seraph bunkers and towers can be easily located on your map.

Start

Once you've located the Seraph Tower public event you want to participate in, be sure to “Gather the Flag” to maximize your ammo and ability levels before (or right after) the event begins. In addition, you should have Rasputin bounties from the active Seraph Bunker, as you risk eliminating a few while participating in this public event. Additionally, equipping gear that can quickly wipe out a host of enemies and take down champion enemies is essential. Since this event is public, you can't believe that everyone will know what they are doing. You want to be prepared to compensate for what other players may not know.

Keep enemies out of the active plate

There is a main tower, called the Seraph Ordinance Satellite Building Tower, which is surrounded by three support towers with load plates during these events. The purpose of the event is to charge the main tower, and this cannot be done if no one is defending the active charge plate. : Do NOT let enemies rush or stay on the currently active plate for a long time, otherwise you will fail the event. Use your super ability, grenades, rocket launcher, etc. - everything you need to keep enemies away from this plate to ensure you get the maximum rewards possible.

When the plate is overwhelmed by enemies before fully charging the main tower, the active plate transforms into one of the other two plates, indicated by the glowing orange ball above it. The active plate will also change once its job is done and it will be time to switch to a new one. Stay aware.

Throw orbs at the glowing orange balloon

The faster your team can throw orbs at the glowing orange ball to get it to the next support tower, the faster the main tower will charge. Don't focus so much on the orbs and the orange bullet that you allow too many enemies to interrupt the charge plate, which will cause an event to fail. Focus more on destroying additions than destroying mini-bosses, as the more enemies you end up defeating, the more the Support Tower will fire. And the more orbs to cast, the faster the event progresses, assuming most of the throws aren't missed. If too many enemies overload the charge plate when the support tower spits out orbs, however, there will only be two orbs to throw. If you notice that you are still missing the shiny orange ball, try to line up with the clip between the towers the orb is moving on before throwing. This will almost guarantee a sure hit.

Defeat the Champions

You will repeat the above two steps several times the main tower is near carrying capacity. Once he's close, champion enemies will spawn for your team to take down. Unleash everything you've got on these champions, but don't forget to defend this active charge plate! (I really meant that when I said I couldn't stress this enough).

Collect your rewards

When you complete the full public event, two chests will appear, one of which is the Rasputin Seraph Tower Cache, which players can access as long as they have bits of Warmind Encrypted to spend. . You can also hit the smaller chest, which will drop "rare" blue gear, and successful players will have 10 Warmind bits each. If the event does not reach full completion, only the smallest chest will appear, and players will only receive 4 Warmind bits and earn no progress on their Seraph Tower related bounties. Once the Sercorresponding aph Tower Bunker is upgraded to level 4, the Seraph Tower Chest will provide a more powerful drop once per weekly reset. More information on Warmind bits and Encrypted Warmind bits can be found in this guide.

Final reflections

While still chaotic, the events at Seraph Tower are pretty straightforward once you know what you're doing. Since this is a public event, you will frequently encounter players who still have no clues. Be patient with them and stand up for yourself. There is also no way to make this event heroic; it's heroic enough just to complete it successfully, which should be a lot less of a problem for you after reading this guide.
