Genshin Impact: Illumiscreen 2's image is of a Mora, and there are three treasures to be found.
To launch the Illumiscreen 2 in Genshin Impact, you must reach the second stage of the Lantern Rite Tales. To do this, you must first clear the previous nine Tales of the Rite of Lanterns, then the Rite of Lantern event quest "Currents in the Deep of the Lanterns". You will then have a very brief quest to complete at the Wangshu Inn (“Wangshu Again”). Once that's done, you'll have access to the second series of Lantern Rite Tales, including The Illumiscreen 2.
Illumiscreen 2 starts off the same as the first: talk to Brother Qian at Liyue Port at night (between 21:00 p.m. and 06:00 a.m.), and he will once again task you with solving a lantern puzzle to discern the location of three treasures. There's a change here that makes things a bit trickier this time around. The left lantern turns on its own, but the other two turn and another lantern. Fortunately, there is a simple scheme to eliminate this.
You need to throw a Mora to advance Illumiscreen 2, so rotate the central lantern until you get the Mora symbol. Rotate the right until it and the center are aligned, then move the left to complete the image. Alternatively, you can start with the left lantern, as it moves independently, then the center until you see the Mora symbol, followed by the right until everything aligns. It will take a little longer, so it is better to use the first method.
Once you've rotated the lanterns and completed the Mora Projection, interact with the image to highlight the three treasure locations on your map. Each Illumiscreen 2 treasure comes with a little challenge, so let's break them down very quickly:
- South of Wangshu Inn, near Guili Plains waypoint
- Blocked by a windscreen.
- Can be overcome by hovering from Wangshu Inn, but you have to climb to the top.
- Alternatively, can be bypassed by finding the three seelie floating nearby (this method comes with three additional exquisite chests).
- One in the thorns, next to a Hilichurl camp; use Pyro to release.
- A fair floating on rocks nearby.
- One across the water on a rock near Hilichurl.
- East of Jueyun Karst, southeast of the nearest Minlin waypoint.
- Near an old abandoned house.
- Pyro Hilichurl and a Hydro Abyss mage will appear to defend a visible chest.
- This is not the real safe.
- Kill the Hilichurl near the house and select the courtyard crater excavation option.
- is the actual breast.
- In the Huaguang Stone Forest, just south of Mt. Waypoint of Aozang.
- Jump on the Challenge pylon and activate it.
- Slide up and land on the central green island.
- You have to blow up 15 barrels within the time limit to succeed.
- Blow up the first barrel to make them all explode.
- Collect the chest that appears near the pylon to complete this quest step.
Once you've looted all three chests, return to Liyue Harbor to speak with Brother Qian to complete The Illumiscreen 2. No matter the time, just talk to Qian to complete the quest and grab 30 Primogems, Mora, and 200 Festive Fever for the Genshin Impact Lantern Rite event.
