New content
I. New characters
- 5-star character "Childe" Tartaglia (Hydro)
- No. 11 of The Harbingers, also known as "Childe". His name is much feared on the battlefield.
- 4-star character "Kätzlein Cocktail" Diona (Cryo)
- A young woman who inherited traces of non-human blood. She's the incredibly popular bartender at Cat's Tail Tavern.
During the "Farewell to Snezhnaya" wishing event, after the version 1.1 update to 01/12/2020 15:59:59 (server time), the 5-star character exclusive to the "Childe" Tartaglia event (Hydro) and - "Kätzlein Cocktail" star characters Diona (Cryo), "Uncrown Lord of Ocean" Beidou (Electro) and "Eclipsing Star" Ningguang (Geo) will have their wish drop rates significantly increased!
The “Test Run” character trial event will be available after the version 1.1 update until 01/12/2020 at 15:59:59 PM (server time). Travelers can use stationary team builds containing the trial characters to complete the designated challenges. Once the challenge is completed, you can get the corresponding rewards!
- 5-star character "Vago Mundo" Zhongli (Geo)
- A mysterious guest invited by Wangsheng funeral home. Extremely knowledgeable in everything.
- 4-star "Blazing Riff" character Xinyan
- Liyue's only rock'n'roll musician. She rebels against ossified prejudices using her music and passionate song.
* The characters "Vago Mundo" Zhongli (Geo) and "Blazing Riff" Xinyan will appear in a later event wish.
II. New weapons
- Dust Memory (5 Star Catalyst)
- A stone dumbbell containing distant memories. Its endless transformations reveal inner power.
The “Epitome Invocation” event wish will be available after the version 1.1 update until 01/12/2020 at 15:59:59 PM (server time). Meanwhile, the Event-exclusive Memory of Dust 5-Star Weapon (Catalyst) and Skyward Harp 5-Star Weapon (Bow) will see their wish drop rate dramatically increased!
- Vortex Vanquisher (Polearm 5 stars)
- This sharp weapon can apparently pierce anything. When swung, you can almost see the rift it rips through the air.
- The Unforged (Claymore 5 étoiles)
- Able to ward off evil spirits and villains, this rimless claymore appears to possess divine power.
* Vortex Vanquisher (Polearm) and The Unforged (Claymore) weapons will appear in a later event wish.
- Royal Lance (Polearm 4 stars)
- This polearm was once cherished by a member of the old nobility who ruled Mondstadt a long time ago. Although it never saw the light of day, it is still incomparably sharp.
- * The Royal Spear weapon (4-Star Polearm) will be available in Starglitter Exchange in the store.
III. New quests
1. New Archon Quest
- The mysterious emissary Ganyu appears before you in the third knockout round. Claiming to have come at Ningguang's request, she invites you to the heavenly palace known as the Jade Chamber. To this end, you and Paimon have come to Mt. Tianheng, from where you can see the Jade Chamber in the distance ...
After updating to version 1.1, Archon Quest Chapter 1: Act III - A New Star Approaches will be available. Complete this quest chain and get Primogems, Weapon Upgrade Materials, Character EXP Materials, and other rewards!
2. New story quests
- The Milleliths have recently received numerous eyewitness reports which have confirmed an active presence of the Ruin Guard in an area well beyond their normal range of activity. After some research, you find that these ruin guards are actually just toys for a certain child ...
- After the update to version 1.1, the chapter Story Quest Monoceros Caeli: Act I - The adventure of the mighty Cyclops! will become available.
Complete this quest chain and get Primogems, Weapon Upgrade Materials, Character EXP Materials, and other rewards!
- The Story Quest Chapter Historia Antiqua: Act I - Sal Flore will also be available at a later date.
3. New world quests
- New World Quests Added: Adventurers Guild Affairs, Procedures Needed, Words That Are Worth Their Weight in Mora, Changchang's Boyfriend, Nantianmen's Secret, An Ode to Yonder City, and Endless Research
- Complete these quests and get Mora, Character EXP gear, and other rewards!
IV. New events
Main Event Version - Unreconciled Stars
- Particular meteorites descend on Teyvat, bringing with them a rare sleeping sickness. People caught in deep sleep, mysterious dreams, an unknown star… The crisis is approaching!
- Event Duration: 2020/11/16 10:00:00 (server time) - 2020-11-30 03:59:59 (server time)
- Event Rules: During the event, complete designated quests and “Star of Destiny” challenges to get Fading Star's Might and Fading Star's Essence!
- Event Rewards: Exchange Fading Star Power and Fading Star Essence in the Event Shop for Character Ascension Materials, Hero Spirit, Mystic Upgrade Ore, talent enhancement materials, a crown of insight, and other rewards!
Complete the "Prinzessin Pact" to get "Prinzessin der Verurteilung!" »Fischl (electro)!
* The Gliding Challenge and While It's Warm events will be available at a later date. Stay tuned for more information.
V. New systems
1. City reputation system
- Reach Adventure Rank 25 and complete the corresponding quests to unlock this system.
- Reputation is currently divided into Mondstadt Reputation and Liyue Reputation.
- Mondstadt reputation unlock criteria: Complete the prologue of the quest Archon: Act I "The Outland that caught the wind"
- Liyue Reputation Unlock Criteria: Complete the Archon Chapter I: Act II quest "Farewell, Archaic Lord"
- Travelers can speak to Knights of Favonius coordinator Hertha and Ministry of Civil Affairs secretary Ms. Yu to accept new bounties and requests. You can also collect reputation EXP rewards from them for exploring the world, Mondstadt quests, and Liyue quests.
- As you increase your reputation level, you will unlock special city features, recipes, gadget blueprints, business cards, wind gliders, and other rewards.
2. Exploration progression system
- Zoom out on the map to view the exploration progress for each area. Open chests, find Elemental Oculi, unlock waypoints, and complete other exploration activities to increase your exploration progress in each area.
3. Archiving system
- A collection of equipment, materials, geography, books and tutorials.
4. Character archive system
- Character archive added.
VI. Other new content
1. Gameplay

2. Parameters
- Added customization options for keyboard and controller: go to Paimon Menu> Settings> Commands, select a function to change the key or button assigned to it, and press any key or button for it. assign to this function.
- New customization options added to Settings> Graphics: Volumetric Fog, Reflections, Bloom, Crowd Density, and Teammate Co-op Effects.
- New options added to Settings> Other: Combat Camera Settings and Default Camera Distance.
3. System
- Added equipment lockout function. Locked equipment cannot be used for the purpose of upgrading or refining.
- A report function has been added to the cooperative mode.
- Adds functionality to the weapon / artifact upgrade screen that displays descriptions of items added as upgrade materials.
- When upgrading the weapon, the surplus EXP is now returned as weapon upgrade material (previously the surplus EXP was lost).
- Characters sent on expeditions are no longer hors de combat. They can be added to your group as usual.
