Ever since you learned how to use GIMP and you have taken your first steps in the world of graphics, you often enjoy editing your digital photos to make them more beautiful and special. Now, for example, you have made up your mind to change the eye color of you and your friends but you don't know how to do it yet.
Don't worry, with GIMP you can also do this without requiring special knowledge and without wasting time: just a few clicks, a few minutes, and in no time at all you will be able to obtain professional-level results. So, you are ready to find out how to change eye color in photos with GIMP?
The first step you need to take for change eye color in photos with GIMP, is to start the program in question through its icon on the desktop and open the photo in which you want to change the color of the eyes by clicking on the item apri from the menu Fillet (in the central window of GIMP).
Now, use the drop-down menu located at the bottom left (under the open photo) to increase the zoom level (bring it to 200% o 400%) and focus on the first eye to edit. Then select it freehand selection tool (the lasso) from the toolbar of GIMP and create a selection with the mouse around the iris of the eye trying to be as precise as possible. A bit like in the photo below.
Once you have selected the outline of the iris, right click in the selected area and select the item Colors> Color from the menu that appears. In the window that opens, use the scroll bar Hue to change the selected eye color and click on the button OK per salvare i Cambiomenti.
At this point, select the iris of the other eye with it freehand selection tool and repeat the operation just completed to change the color of that too. Try to use the same value as Hue so as not to have eyes of different colors.
