    Stances are important for knowing how to use and use Nioh 2. It changes the way your weapon attacks and the type of movement you perform during combat. Some attacks and skills that you learn in the require a certain stance for you to use, and you may prefer a specific stance depending on the weapon you are using.

    To quickly change position, you must hold the R1 button on your controller. From there you have three different fighting stances to use and a way to store your weapon. The triangle button changes to the up position. The square button takes you to your average position. The cross button takes you to a low position. You can change these positions during and out of combat. When you want to put away your weapon after finishing the fight, press the circle button.



    Performing a stance change changes the movement of your attack. For example, when using the kusarigama in the high position, your attacks are closer to your body and revolve around your character. When you move to the middle position, your attacks are outward, creating a small arch in front of you, and you are hitting enemies all around you. Whenever you get a new weapon for your character, it's essential to sample your character's attack types to see how you can use them fluidly in combat and bypass enemy defenses.
