So, let's do this: position yourself comfortably in front of your trusty computer (or grab your smartphone) and immediately start concentrating on reading this guide entirely dedicated to how to delete logos (but also the texts) from the photos. Programs to remove logos
To begin with, let's try to figure out which tools, at the level software, you can use for delete logos and the writings from the photos. Below you will find those that in my humble opinion constitute the best tool category. Some, I'll tell you, are already included in Windows and macOS.
GIMP (Windows / macOS / Linux)
The first of the software resources to perform the operation object of this guide that I recommend you take into consideration is GIMP. It is a free, multi-platform program (it works on Windows, macOS and Linux) and is particularly appreciated by all those looking for a no-cost alternative to the much more famous Adobe Photoshop. It integrates numerous tools and functions that make it practically perfect for carrying out any kind of modification on images, including deleting logos and texts.
To use it, connect to the program's website and press the button Download GIMP x.xx.x directly, in order to download GIMP to your computer.

When the changes are complete, save the edited image by clicking on the menu Fillet (always top left) and choosing the option Save. If you want to create a copy instead of overwriting the original photo, after pressing the menu Fillet select the item Save a copy and indicate the format you want to assign to the image and the location on your computer where you intend to save it.
Photo (Windows)
You are using a computer with su installed Windows 10? In that case, you can take advantage of the application Gallery, already included in the system and designed to organize and view the images that are imported into its library. I have chosen to tell you about it in my guide as it also includes special tools to make basic editing operations on the images, including the removal of any logos and writings.
To use it, first bring up Photos by clicking on the relevant link attached to Start menu. Then go to the card Folders of the application, by clicking on the relevant item at the top of the window that has opened, and select the folder in which the photo to be edited is located. Then go to the tab Collection (which is always at the top of the window) and double-click on the photo of your interest.
Now, press the button Edit and create at the top right and select the option Modification from the menu that opens. Next, click on the tab Rule placed on the right, presses the button Point correction that you find a little lower and begins to "tap" on the parts of the logo or writing to be removed until it disappears completely.
When you have finished editing, save the edited photo by clicking on the button Save bottom right. If you want to save the modified image as a copy, press the button Save a copy and it's done.
Photo (macOS)
I use a Mac? In this case, I am happy to inform you that, similar to what we saw together in the previous step for Windows, the application is available "as standard" on macOS Gallery, thanks to which it is possible to organize, catalog and view the images imported into the library. It also integrates ad hoc tools to correct photo imperfections and a special tool to remove unwanted elements present on them.
To use it for your purpose, start the application by clicking on its icon on the Dock bar (Quella with il multicolored flower) and open the photo relating to which you are interested in going to agre, by double clicking on its preview that you find in the section Gallery application (in the left sidebar). If the photo you want to edit isn't already in the Photo gallery, import it first by clicking on the menu Fillet top left and then on the item Import.
Now, press the button Modification located at the top right of the application window, make sure the tab is selected Rule from the central part of the screen (and if not, you can do it yourself), expand the tool Retouch (find it on the right sidebar) and click on the button with the brush.
Then highlight the logo or writing to be removed from the image by left clicking on it with the mouse cursor and continuing to hold it down. If you want, you can also increase or decrease the size of the tool using the appropriate adjustment bar located in the right part of the window.
Once the changes are complete, the logos and writings that you have highlighted will disappear automatically. To save the changes made to the image, click on the button end located at the top right of the Photo window. Done!
Online services to delete logos
You do not want or cannot download new programs on your computer and would therefore like to understand if there are also gods online services thanks to which to be able to eliminate logos and writings from photos by acting directly from the web browser? Inpaint Online
The first of the online services that I want to advise you to use is Inpaint Online. It is an excellent Web app that works with all browsers and operating systems that does only one but does it great: it allows you to remove logos and texts from photos in JPG and PNG format quickly and easily. The only thing to take into account is that it is not free, or rather the download of the edited images is not. The service works with a credit system and to download the edited photo you need to buy one of the available bundles (100 credits cost $ 9,99, 500 credits cost $ 19,99).
All you have to do to use it is to connect to the Inpaint Online website, click on the button upload Image placed in the center of the screen and select the image in relation to which you are interested in going to act. Once the photo has been uploaded, you will find yourself in front of the editor of the service.
Then highlight with the mouse cursor the logo or text to be removed from the photo by left clicking and continuing to hold the permutation. If you see fit, you can change the size of the brush using the adjustment bar at the top left. Next, click the button Erase that you always find at the top left to get the image without logo or writing. Et voila!
If necessary, you can make carrying out the procedure in question easier and more precise by using the various tools made available to you by the service. In fact, you can increase or decrease the zoom level of the image using the icons in the shape of magnifying glass placed at the top left, while if you make a mistake in highlighting the text or logo area to be deleted from the photo you can go back by simply clicking on the button with the "X" (always located on the toolbar).
When you have completed the operation and are satisfied with the result, you can save and download your edited photo by clicking on the icon in the shape of floppy disk located at the top left.
Pixlr
If you are looking for a valid online alternative to the resources already mentioned, which can be used for free, easy to use and able to flawlessly fulfill the purpose of this tutorial (and not only), I suggest you try Pixlr. It is a Web application that broadly reproduces the functioning of Photoshop and thanks to which it is possible to intervene on the images in various ways using the many tools made available. The only thing that needs to be taken into account is that it needs to to work Flash Player on your computer (for more information, read my guides on how to install Flash Player and how to activate Adobe Flash Player).
You ask me how to make use of Pixlr for your purpose? I'll point it out to you right away. First, connected to the main page of the service, click on the item Open an image from your computer and select the image saved on your PC in relation to which you are interested in going to act.
Once you see your chosen photo in the service editor, select it Correct point tool (the one with the plaster) from the left sidebar and, by left clicking and continuing to hold down, hover the mouse pointer over the text attached to the photo or logo to be deleted. Wait a few moments and the highlighted item will immediately disappear from your photo. Here it is!
If necessary, you can adjust the size of the Correct Stitch tool using the drop-down menu Sizes located at the top left, while if you need to enlarge the image to perform an even more precise work, use it zoom tool by clicking on the symbol magnifying glass in the left sidebar and then clicking on the photo.
When finished editing, save the edited image by clicking on the menu Fillet at the top left, by selecting the item Save, indicating the name you want to assign to the photo and the format (and possibly also the quality) and clicking on the button OK.
Photopea
Another online service that I invite you to seriously consider is Photopea. It is a free online application based on technology HTML5, with a well-finished user interface that allows you to edit and create images thanks to the countless tools available. It has absolutely nothing to envy to software solutions and can also be particularly useful for removing logos and writings from images.
To use it, connected to the website of the service, scroll down the page slightly to reach the editor, click on the menu Fillet (top left) and choose the option Open from the menu that opens, then select the image saved on your computer on which you want to work.
At this point, move the mouse pointer over the button with the plaster that you find in the left sidebar and choose, from the menu that opens, the option Spot Healing Brush Tool (spot healing brush), that Healing Brush Tool (corrective brush) or that Patch Tool Selection (patch tool).
If you have chosen the Spot Healing Brush, use the drop-down menu located at the top left to select the size of the brush and perform a single "brushstroke" or "tap" on the logo or writing to be removed to finalize the operation. Instead, if you have selected the classic corrective brush, first indicate the image area to be used as a sample to cover the logo or writing, using the combination Alt + click, and then hover the mouse pointer over the area to be covered, left clicking and continuing to hold down; while if you have selected the option patch, select the area of the photo with the logo or writing and cover it by dragging it over an image area you want to use as a sample.
When the changes are complete, click on the menu Fillet in alto a sinistra, selects the dicitura Export As, indicate the format in which you want to export the edited photo among those available in the list that appears and press the button Save nell'ulteriore finestra che si apre.

As I said at the beginning, you can remove any logos and texts on the images even from mobile, using uses suitable for smartphones and tablets Android and for iPhone e iPad. If this interests you, below you will therefore find listed those that in my opinion represent the best solutions in the category. Put them to the test now, you will see that you will not regret it!
- Snapseed (Android / iOS) - this is one of the best zero-cost applications dedicated to photo editing. It is developed by Google and it includes countless functions and tools to correct the most disparate imperfections of digital photos. Of course, it also includes a tool for removing unwanted writing.
- TouchRetuch (Android / iOS) - paid app (the version for Android costs € 1,99, while the version for iOS costs € 2,29) specifically designed for removing unwanted elements from photos. It is super easy to use, even by those who have no experience with image editing.
