LiberLiber
LiberLiber is an cittàn website that offers the public a library consisting of thousands of works at no cost. Among these, we can find great classics of international literature no longer protected by copyright and works by contemporary authors who have decided to embrace the cause of this project. All books are available in multiple file formats - not just PDF but also ePub, ODT and more.
To download a work from LiberLiber, connected to the home page of the site and click on the button Log in you see at the top right. Then move the mouse cursor over the tab Books (top right), select the item List by authors and works from the menu that appears and use the box List by author to choose an author. Then locate the title of the ebook you want to download and press the button PDF placed under the latter to start the download.
Feedbooks
Although its catalog of works is not as vast as LiberLiber's, FeedBooks is also fully among the sites for download PDF books which I advise you to always keep in bookmarks. It includes works in the public domain in various languages, among which of course there is also cittàn. You can find a bit of everything here: great literary classics like Edmondo de Amicis' “Heart” and horror stories like Edgar Allan Poe's “The Black Cat”.
To browse the FeedBooks library, connect to the page of the site that hosts the ebooks in cittàn and select a genre from those listed in the left sidebar (eg. Story, Science fiction, Horror), then click on the cover of the book you want to download and select the item PDF from the page that opens.
BookRepublic
BookRepublic also offers various works, classic and contemporary, in PDF format, but to download them you need to register for free on the site. Then click on the item Register to get a 2 euro discount immediately! which is located at the top right, fill out the form that is proposed to you, put the check mark next to the item I accept the terms of use and presses the button Subscribe but I will complete the registration.
When the operation is completed, go back to the BookRepublic page dedicated to free books, locate the work you want to take (making sure that it says PDF format in description) and click on its cover. On the page that opens, click on Add to Cart, Then Continue and provide the required billing information (home address should suffice). To conclude, click on Complete the order, I proceeded all'acquisto e Download now and the ebook will be downloaded to your computer.
Free Ebook
If you are looking for stories and books by emerging authors, perhaps horror-themed works or essays on various topics, listen to my advice and also add Free Ebooks to your Favorites. This is an cittàn website that allows you to download PDF books free and, in fact, relies on a catalog composed exclusively of short stories, novels and essays by contemporary authors who have consented to the digital distribution of their works.
Unfortunately, the Free Ebook library is not divided by genres: you have to browse all the pages of the site and go in search of the works that interest you. Once found, then, you can download them simply by clicking on their covers and pressing the button download for free present on the page that opens (in the right sidebar).
