To say that WWE 2K Battlegrounds is different from its predecessors would be an understatement. WWE 2K Battlegrounds is a completely different title, at least compared to what the WWE 2K hiatus series looked like before 2020. Among the major differences between the two are the cartoonish-style gameplay additions and the insane obstacles to WWE 2K Battlegrounds. One of these obstacles is a car that can fall directly on the opposing wrestler, or on you. However, there is a process that you will need to go through before you can use the car, and here is what you will need to do.
First of all, the car is only present on the Detroit battlefield. Make sure you are competing on this battlefield otherwise it won't work. When fighting in Detroit, you will notice that there is a car on the right side of the battlefield. There are two ways to drop the suspended car into the air on the opposing wrestler.
The first way is to pick up and transport the opponent by long pressing A (for Xbox) or X (for PlayStation). Move and the opponent to the right side until you get to the ropes, then throw your opponent on the jack. Once you do this the car will fall right over the opposing wrestler. This method is quite similar to how you can feed your opponent a crocodile on the Everglades battlefield.
There is also another way to knock the Detroit car down on your opponent. YouTuber SmackTalks found that using an Irish Whip can initiate this special animation as well. When you and the opposing wrestler are outside the ring, right next to the car, press B / Square, then slide the left joystick to the right. This will whip the opponent directly into the jack and the car will fall directly onto their body.
