How to get gold in Spellbreak

Most games these days tend to have premium currency, and Spellbreak is no different. The game itself is free to play, but if you want to have the most dressed mage in the Hollow Lands, you'll need some gold.

If you're not the type to spend on a game, but still want to dip your toes into the currency, don't worry, there are also natural ways to earn gold in small amounts besides the heavier premium buy-ins.

The main way to acquire gold in the game is to level up your mage rank. Each level gives you 50 gold, and if you hold it, you can accumulate a total of 2450 gold by the time you reach the max level. You can also acquire gold from certain higher levels of the class ranks, totaling 300 from each of the six classes for a total of 1800 gold.

This means that overall, you can acquire 4250 gold without ever paying real money if you max out your mage and every class in the game.

The easiest way to acquire gold is to buy it. The cheapest option is a starter pack that also includes the rare Bewitching Glimmer level outfit, making it the most wanted option. The rest are just heaps of gold ranging from 1 to 000.

There are also 3 external DLC options that come with 1 to 3 outfits, varying by console, and a certain amount of gold. The gold medals for each DLC pack are as follows:

  • Mage Pack: 3500 Gold
  • Battlemage 6000 PO
  • Main Pack: 15000 Gold

Right now, these are the only 4 ways to get gold in the game. There is no gold for earning matches or completing quests. That said, the Chapter feature has yet to be added to the game, and there may be more non-premium opportunities for Gold when it releases.
