As with blogging, you can try to grab the audience's attention by proposing contents that interest visitors. And how do you know what content people are interested in? Simple, by viewing the public statistics of Google and YouTube on the Internet. In this regard, I suggest you contact Google Trends, the free tool made available by big G thanks to which users can discover the most viewed videos on YouTube and the most searched terms on Google.
To use it, connect to the main web page of the tool using the link I have provided you just now. You will be shown all the videos on YouTube that have been most successful on the net over the last few hours. You can further refine your search using the appropriate menu located at the top.
Then I suggest you also take a look at what are the trends on Google. Then click on the button with the three lines horizontally which is located at the top left and then click on the item Home page attached to the menu that is shown to you. Click on city from the drop-down menu for the selection of the country located at the top right and choose a possible reference category from the one located on the left and then consult the results below.
You can get an even better idea of search trends by clicking on the button with the three lines horizontally located at the top left, choosing the item Trends in searches from the displayed menu, by selecting city from the drop-down menu at the top and consulting the various results day by day.
Another great tool to get an idea of what the trends are on YouTube is VidStatX. It is a service that allows you to know the most successful YouTube videos and channels in the last period.
To use VidStatX, connected to the main page of the service using the link I just provided, then move the cursor to the menu Most Viewed and select one of the items attached to the menu to find out what are the most popular YouTube videos of the moment.
Instead, by placing the cursor on Most subscribed and by selecting one of the items attached to the menu that is shown to you, you can find out what are the most popular YouTube videos of the moment.
Offer interesting content
Once you've found the right topics, you can upload themed videos using catchy titles e optimized tags corresponding to the keywords most searched for by people on the Internet.
For example, if you find that many people search Google for terms how to speed up Windows 10, make a video in which you explain how to improve the performance of the latest operating system from Microsoft, set a captivating phrase as the title of the video, such as How to speed up Windows 10 for free, tested and 100% working and tag terms such as speed up Windows 10, optimize Windows 10 speed up PC and so on.
By doing this, you have a good chance that by searching on Google or YouTube itself, many people will find your video and decide to subscribe to the channel.
Advertise the channel
When creating your videos don't forget to add some in the video itself and its description refer to the movies uploaded previously on your channel (possibly related to the topic covered in the current video) and invite viewers to enroll to the canal (without being too insistent, though).
To entice visitors to view more of your videos relevant to the current one and to subscribe to your YouTube channel, you can use the inserting function. Comments in the movies. This is a feature made available by YouTube to insert "comics" in crucial points of the videos in which you invite users to subscribe to the channel or refer them to other videos that may be of interest to them, using direct links.

Very simple: all you have to do is connect to this YouTube page and find the button you prefer among those available.
Then, download it to your computer, insert the downloaded image on the main page of your site / blog (perhaps in the sidebar) and add a link to it that refers to your YouTube channel or to a specific video, depending on the your needs. By doing these operations you should be able to gain some visits from casual users.
Also, if there is a video on your channel that you intend to “push” more than any other, put it in the foreground. To do this, go to the main page of your YouTube channel by clicking on the button with the three lines horizontally located at the top left and selecting the item My channel from the menu that is shown to you, and click the button for add a featured video. After that, choose the video to be featured in the channel, click the button Apply And that's it.
Some recommendations
Finally, I want to recommend some basic rules for increasing YouTube views. Never fall for those systems that try to steal money from you by promising you stratospheric increases in visits because in most cases they are scams (or in any case illicit techniques to inflate visits) and never abuse keywords in tags and titles of your videos.
Use optimized titles and tags, as I explained earlier, but that are relevant to the video content. Do not take advantage of keywords related to news stories or famous people when they have nothing to do with the video you are uploading, you could increase the visits of your channel in a few days but you would lose any credibility and long game you would risk finding yourself with zero visits even by uploading content interesting.
Furthermore, considering that, as I already told you at the beginning of the guide, to increase the views on YouTube it is essential to work by giving space to constancy and perseverance and trying to produce something that has real value for the viewer, to better understand how to proceed I suggest you follow the most famous YouTube channels and keep an eye on how often they publish new videos and how they interact with fans. You will see, it will be of great help to you.
