The number of followers and followers on Instagram increases day by day and with them the stories and posts published. There are those however is not interested in certain contents and prefers to hide them while maintaining "contact" with the user who creates them. Today we will therefore see how to silence Instagram posts and stories and how, eventually, to reactivate them.
Deactivate and activate Instagram posts and stories
To silence any content posted by a specific person on Instagram exist three different methods. The first consists in holding down for a few moments on the icon (in the shape of a circle) of the published story and then on "Deactivate", choosing which content to hide (just stories or stories and posts). The second is very similar, but passes through the three dots at the top right of a fixed post.
The third is probably the most complete since it also allows the reactivation.
- Open the application "Instagram" and log in with your account
- Enter the profile of the person to be silenced
- click "Follow already"
- Continue with "Silence"
- Activate the contents to hide
- Go back and close the screen
Obviously, in case you want to reactivate the preference, just repeat the procedure and disable options of posts and stories. Reactivation also works for hidden posts and stories using the first method.
