How to see a live on YouTube

I show you how to do it in the following lines. I will also explain how to proceed in case you want to see a live stream previously broadcast on your YouTube channel.
Smartphones and tablets
To watch live streaming on YouTube from your smartphone or tablet, launch the app YouTube previously downloaded to your device, and log in to your Google account, so you can quickly access the channels you are subscribed to.
Once this is done, identify, referring to the section Subscribers located in the menu below, the channel of your interest that published the live stream. In case you do not find it, you can type its name in the search engine you see at the top, in correspondence with theicon of the lens of ingrandimento.
Alternatively, to see the list of all YouTube channels currently on air with a live stream, refer to the official YouTube channel Live, searching for it through the integrated search engine. Furthermore, if you have previously seen a live stream on YouTube, the service could offer you to watch similar content directly on the home page: the live ones are marked with the words Live.
After identifying the direct of your interest, tap on his preview image, to start playback. If you then want to pause the video, press the ❚❚ button visible on the screen.
To resume watching the live on YouTube, realigning yourself with the live broadcast, press the ▶ ︎ key and then double tap on the right side of the screen, to forward the video ten seconds at a time. Instead, tap twice on the left side of the screen to go back ten seconds and review a moment you missed.
If, on the other hand, you have published a live stream on your YouTube channel and would like to see it again, first tap on your profile icon at the top right, then in the menu that is shown to you, tap on the item My channel.
At the end of the live broadcast, in fact, the video will be published on your YouTube channel, so that you or any other user can review it at any time. Then tap on the same, corresponding to the tab Video o playlist, if you added it to a playlist, to review it.

Seeing a live on YouTube from your computer is just as simple and immediate: all you have to do is connect to the official website of the famous video sharing platform and log in with your Google account. At this point, refer to the side section, called Subscribers, to scroll through the list of channels you are subscribed to and find those that broadcast live shows.
Alternatively, you can find live shows to watch by connecting to the official YouTube channel Live, which collects all the live broadcasts currently in progress. Furthermore, watching a live stream may be recommended directly on the YouTube home page, by means of the wording Live now.
If you have located the video you are interested in watching, click on it to start playing it. Also, as with any other video posted on YouTube, you can pause and resume viewing by pressing the ❚❚ / ▶ ︎ key at any time. Clearly, since it is a live video, the video will still go forward, therefore, to resume the real-time display, you will have to bring the time slider back to the right of the timeline.
In the event that you have a YouTube channel in which you have started a live stream, at the end of the same the video will be uploaded to your channel, so that it is also visible at a later time. If you want, then, to review this video, click on your profile picture at the top right and press on the item My Channel In the menu that comes mostrato.
You will then be redirected to the public view of your YouTube channel: then refer to the card Video or that playlist, to locate and select the video of your interest, in order to start playing it.
How to comment on a live on YouTube
By watching a live on YouTube, it is possible to interact with the authors of the video and other users of the platform by commenting in real time, through the live chat included in the page. To do this, you can act in the same way both from smartphones and tablets and from computers using, respectively, the YouTube app for Android or iOS or the official website of the service.
Having said that, start the live you want to see and comment on, following the instructions I gave you in the previous chapters, depending on whether you are using the app for Android or iOS or if you have connected to YouTube from a computer.
After identifying and starting the playback of the live show of your interest, to interact in the live chat refer to the screen in question that, in the YouTube app, you can see below the video, while on the YouTube site it is located on the right side of the screen,
Either way, you will be shown real-time comments from everyone who uses live chat. If you want to interact with a comment, you must have previously logged into your Google account, after which, you must refer to the text field Chat publicly like (Android / iOS) or write something (from computer).
Then type the text of the message and press the icon of arrow up smartphone and tablet or button Submit on computer to send it. Easy, right?
