Instagram allows us to register and broadcast live video, a function similar to that of Facebook. The feature, when it was just launched, was a bit immature. In fact, the live videos, once finished, could not be viewed and were completely lost. Now Instagram has introduced the possibility of share a live video. Unfortunately there is a limitation. As with the stories, the shared live videos will last 24 hours and will then be deleted.
In this simple guide we will show you how to share a video that we have broadcast live to make it available to all our followers.
How to share live video
To be able to share a live video, we must first start a live broadcast. Once the transmission is over, the final screen will give us the opportunity to immediately share the video for 24 hours. It is also possible to save the video of the live broadcast by clicking on the icon at the top right.
To share the video just click on the button Share down below.
Once that's done, Instagram will share our video. The video will be available and visible as a normal story at the top of the home. We can view it by clicking on it. We can also carry out the same operations we do on stories. For example we can delete it or block the followers we don't want to see the video.
Also, our followers can reply to us on the video. Responses are not displayed in the same way as during a live broadcast. The answers to the video will come to us as simple comments to a story and then in the Direct section.
Unfortunately the only limitation is, as we said earlier, that shared videos only last 24 hours and are then deleted. So if you want to keep your live video, we recommend that you save it in your personal gallery.
