Two-factor authentication (two-step) helps secure your Microsoft Outlook account. However, for your own reasons you can deactivate this feature at any time.
Disable two-factor sign-in on Outlook
- Go to the security options of your Outlook account by following this link: https://account.microsoft.com/security And click Other security options. (You will need to login)
- Under the section Two-step verificationchoose Turn off two-step verification to deactivate it.
- Validate the operation by selecting the button Yes
You have disabled two-factor authentication. As you can see in this Tutorial, Microsoft has made it easy to turn off two-step authentication. You can also simply activate it again.
