In case you missed the news earlier today, Nintendo will be hosting a Pokémon Direct special this Thursday, January 9, starting at 9:30 a.m. EDT. While it doesn't state what will be shown during the presentation, it will focus specifically on Pokémon Games.
Chances are, players can finally see an announcement for Pokémon Home, along with some new information about Pokémon Sword and Shield and Pokémon Go. There's always a chance something entirely new could be announced as well.
So how do you get connected and see all the Poké-fun? Here's what you need to do to grab all the action like it's happening this Thursday:

What can fans expect from the broadcast?
As mentioned, the big thing will likely be Pokémon Home. This is a new service that would function as a Pokémon Bank, with classic characters from the Pokémon universe usable in Sword and Shield. During the broadcast, we'll likely know when it's scheduled to debut and how much its subscription price will be.
The coding for Bulbasaur and Flamiaou would already be in place, so they could launch immediately after Pokémon Direct ends.
Additionally, Pokémon Sleep could also be announced. This allows fans to keep an eye on their Pokémon characters while they sleep.
There is also speculation that a brand new Pokémon game could be revealed, which is due out in late 2020.
