On modern PCs it is not uncommon to find a nice one inside the configuration monitor in FullHD o in 4K. These resolutions begin to depopulate among all fixed PCs, both at home (thanks to games with increasingly pushed graphics) and in offices (where having large monitors allows you to work better on documents, tables and graphics). However, many web pages are not yet optimized to take advantage of these resolutions, often showing lots of white space at the edges of the page, tiny text and small images. Waiting for everyone to adapt and start designing websites designed for high definition we can zoom pages in Google Chrome, so as to recover readability and make more use of the monitor.

Zoom in on pages in Google Chrome
We have three methods to zoom web pages in Google Chrome, two referring to the single page visited and one to apply the chosen zoom to all the pages open on the Google browser.
We open the badly displayed page on the high resolution monitor and open the Google Chrome menu. In the menu we can already change the font size and therefore the zoom of the pages using the + and - keys.
For FullHD monitors we can try the zoom at 110 or 125%. If we are owners of a 4K monitor it may be necessary to set 150% or more according to your needs.
We can also make these changes using convenient keyboard shortcuts:
- CRTL and + (numeric keypad): Enlarge the page
- CRTL and - (numeric keypad): Shrink the page
- CRTL and 0 (numeric keypad): Return to original size (100%)
Whichever method is used the chosen zoom level will be applied to the current page only.
To extend the zoom to any web page opened with Google Chrome we will have to open the Settings menu, click on Show advanced settings and adjust the zoom of all pages under the section Web content, as shown in the image below.
