LG OLED TV E8 review: it's scary!

Deep blacks, bright colors and an intuitive interface: these are the strengths of LG E8, the TV OLED available in the version from 55 inches or in the much more expensive one from 65 inches. We tell you everything you need to know about this "TV of wonders" through ours video review (found at the beginning of this article).

LG OLED TV E8: the main features

LG E8 is a resolution TV 4K Ultra HD e HDR composed of two parts: the first is the metal base, while the second is the very thin panel that you will have to fit into the aforementioned base and then fix it using a series of screws designed to hold it in place. Don't worry: the operation is really easy and in a few minutes you will be ready to enjoy your new TV.

Under the body instead we find the new alpha9 processor, an intelligent CPU created by LG precisely for its OLED TVs. All this power, coupled with Dolby Vision HDR, Advanced HDR by Technicolor, HDR10 Pro, HLG Pro and HDR Effect, goes to deliver vibrant colors, sharper details and deeper images. And the audio? It is entrusted to the 60 watt front speakers and the now inevitable Dolby Atmos for a 360 ° sound, but don't expect a very high volume. For a cinematic experience you will have to resort to an external system.

Connectivity, on the other hand, is entrusted to 4 HMDI, 3 USB, an optical output for audio, an analogue, the headphone jack and the Ethernet port, which are naturally flanked by WiFi, Bluetooth and Miracast technology.

Finally, the operating system is WebOS 4.0.

An incredible visual experience

What makes the use of this LG OLED TV E8 extremely unpleasant is the interface of this TV. Web OS 4.0 is intuitive, fast and very comfortable to use large to the magic wand remote control that you find in the package. This means that you are not bound to the keys, but you can move easily using a pointer that resembles that of a traditional mouse. Also I point out the presence of voice commands, so your voice will be enough to carry out the most varied operations such as checking the weather or searching for content based on the actor's name.

Of course, this all comes at a cost. The 55-inch cut of this LG OLED TV E8 came at the list price 2.999 €, while for the 65-inch version you will have to invest 3.999 euros. As you can see, the price on Amazon is much lower. If you have some cash to spare and want to invest it in a new TV, this might really be for you.
