How to catch Regis

No, we're not trying to catch the former Who Wants To Be A Millionaire host who sadly passed away a few months ago, but rather the various Regis who are in The Crown Tundra expansion. This includes not only the classical quartet of Regirock, Registeel, Regice and Regigigas, but also two new ones known as Regidrago and Regieleki.

This is done by participating in The Legendary Giants quest as part of Legendary Clue 2. While you can check out our guide on this for a breakdown of where to go to find each one, this one will be a bit more. wide on just explaining how to get the individual Regis and not push the story too far.

To get started, you need to get the first three Regis of Registeel, Regirock, and Regice by going to the three temples around The Crown Tundra and following the instructions to enter each one. You must first have these three items before proceeding to the next step to get one of the new Regis in the expansion.

Now to get into the final temple you need to get the other three Regis to be grabbed and be part of your party, which should open the door. In this temple you have to make the ground pattern for one of the two new Regi, Regidrago and Regieleki, that you want and interact with the statue to fight it and be able to capture it.

The last Regi, Regigigas is going to be a bit of a problem, as it requires you to have the other five Regis in your party to access it. The problem here, as you can probably see from what we've said above, is that you can only get one in your game. That means you'll have to ask someone to trade you in either. Regidrago or Regieleki you need so that you can put them in your party. You can do this yourself if you have a copy of Pokemon Sword and Shield and a copy of the separate Expansion Pass for both, where you can swap this one for Pokemon Home and transfer it to your other copy.

Regardless of how you do it, you will need to have all five Regis possible, if not to access Regigigas. You can still bring your own Regigigas from Pokemon Home that you have from previous distributions in old games like Sun and Moon, but you can't get the Regigigas in The Crown Tundra without having Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Regidrago, and Regieleki all. in your partying together.

Once you've got all five in your party, head to Snowslide Slope and head southwest until you come across a raid lair that wouldn't be lit if you didn't. the five. When it's on, interact with it and you'll have to face off against a dynamaxed level 100 Regigigas, so be prepared for a really tough fight here.
