Rainbow Six Siege Update 2.01 patch notes

This update follows patch Y5S4.2 from a week and a half ago, now known as Y5S4.3 on all platforms. There is also a range of file sizes for the update, which are as follows for each platform.

Balancing

Ash

  • Reduced the explosive damage range of Breach Bullets to 2 yards (was 3,5 yards)

male

  • Increased total shotgun ammo to 30 + 1 (was 26)
  • Added Hard Breach Charge (Claymore removed)

Echo

  • Reduced cooldown of Yokai Drone Jump to 2s (was 3s)
  • Reduced the timeout of the drone not respecting the cap to 0,5s (from 2s)
  • Reduced Sonic Burst cooldown to 16s (was 20s)

She

  • Suppression of resistance to the effects of concussion
  • "Additional" mine removed in DBNO

Time

  • Suppression de 1-shot-DNBO de CSRX300.
    • CSRX300 now has a base damage of 122 over 25 yards.
    • 100% damage up to 25 yards and linearly drops to 80% (97,6) at 35 yards
    • The damage to limbs did not change.

Lesion


  • Removed 1,5x range from T-5

Leo


  • Claymore added (Removed hard breach charge)

Melusi

  • Removing the angled grip from the MP5

Mira

  • Removed 1.5x scope from Vector .45 ACP

Zofia

  • Suppression of resistance to the effects of concussion
  • Resistance removed
  • Reduced the explosive damage range of the impact grenade to 2m (was 3m)

Ballistic shields

  • Removal (set to 0) of the camera penalty during the Guard Break animation

Hard violation fee

  • Deployment time reduced to 2s (from 3s)
  • Activation time reduced to 5s (instead of 6s)

Recoil (controller only)

  • Improved recoil for: ARX, C8, M1014 and TCSG12

Game health

Canceling a Ranked Game

  • The timer has been extended to give disconnected players more time to join a match in progress.
  • Fixed known abuses occurring when players end the first round prematurely, preventing the opposing team from canceling the match.

Bug fixes

gameplay

  • FIXED - Disabling hostages in matchmaking preferences prevents users from creating a match while en route to SI
  • FIXED - Players reset their loadouts after playing an event.

Level design

  • FIXED - Various level of detail issues are present on bank and stadium maps.
  • FIXED - Zero's ARGUS camera can pass through indestructible ground at the EXT build site on the clubhouse map.
  • FIXED - Shooting bottles and quickly spinning a player character in a specific location in 1F Pantry can cause FPS drops for everyone in the match on the Skyscraper map.
  • FIXED - Several collision issues present on various maps.
  • FIXED - Actionable line of sight present in visible spaces on various maps.
  • FIXED - Desktop panels in INT Office on the Skyscraper map are currently not breakable.
  • FIXED - Various gadget deployment and slicing issues appear on maps.
  • FIXED - The light source on the southwest wall of the 2F Penthouse is visible at the bottom of the northeast wall in the 2F VIP lounge on the stadium map.
  • FIXED - Unnecessary chest prompts are currently present on the roof of the exterior garage near the EXT garage on Kafe Dostoyevsky's map and on a police truck at the main entrance to the coastline map.
  • FIXED - A container in 1F Bedroom on the Skyscraper map appears positioned off the ground.
  • FIXED - Defenders who remain at the gate at 1F Back Stairs will be detected by attackers and receive a “You are detected” message on the villa map.
  • FIXED - Violation Fee will sometimes not destroy the 2F Master Bathroom Floor on the Villa Map.
  • FIXED - Defuser can get stuck in Front Office 2F on the Consulate map after destroying the floor or if it has fallen between the electric generator and the metal pole in EXT West Spawn on the stadium map.
  • FIXED - Players can go out of bounds after climbing ventilation units and falling near EXT ventilation stairs or when rapidly rappelling down a particular tree on the Skyscraper map.
  • FIXED - The grilles above the air conditioning unit on the 3rd floor of the cigar room on the Kafe Dostoyevsky map cannot be pinged.
  • FIXED - Attackers can be repelled by Oryx's Remah Dash through the clear bulletproof glass in Main Hall 1F on the stadium map.
  • FIXED - Bullets can penetrate through the blue cannon located at 4F Tractor Storage on the Hereford Base map.
  • FIXED - Under specific circumstances Operators can float above ground in the EXT main entrance on the bank map.
  • FIXED - Secure area objective clips with nearby furniture in the kids' room on the Hereford base map.
  • FIXED - Operators can appear with their backs to the house at EXT Side Street on the house map.

The operators



  • FIXED - Maestro's Evil Eye Turret used in quick succession sometimes causes gameplay issues.
  • FIXED - Bailiff's reticle elements cut off when crouching or lying down.
  • FIXED - Incorrect hand animation is visible after Caveira activates Silent Step and performs a melee attack.
  • FIXED - Sprinting with Warden leaves no mark on Jackal's EyeNox.
  • FIXED - Zofia has additional resistance to her Concussion Projectile and Ela's GRZMOT Mine during Road to SI2021 sessions.
  • FIXED - Melee hits with Tachanka's Shumikha Launcher cause both hands to clip into the Grenade Launcher.
  • FIXED - Maestro's Evil Eye can be deployed in the air by placing it on Goyo's Volcanic Shield, then removing the Volcanic Shield.
  • FIXED - Tachanka's DP-27 LMG will only destroy a single layer of destructible walls that have multiple layers.
  • FIXED - Sound muffled when deploying a secondary hard breach charge while crouching on barricades.

  • FIXED - Custom weapons during operator selection phase are not visually updated in the menu.
  • FIXED - The 'Cosplay Guide: Operation Void Edge' reward currently displays a placeholder image in the Ubisoft Connect launcher.
  • FIXED - A pop-up will appear after each game session when the player returns to the main menu.
  • FIXED - Minor visual issues were present in connection with the “Road to SI2021” event.
  • FIXED - Risen Headgear syringe is glowing brightly.
  • FIXED - User welcome pop-up message does not always display a consistent message.
  • FIXED - Mute's Swamp Trek Uniform Hands have visual issue when holding a weapon.
  • FIXED - Inviting players to a custom online game creates a squad instead of adding players to the custom online lobby.
  • FIXED - The R6 Credits button is missing in several Renown Booster Packs in the purchase confirmation side panel.
  • FIXED - Players are reporting that despite winning a match it counts as a loss and the player may be downgraded.
  • FIXED - If a player leaves a Road to SI session, the Player Hub dynamic play button will instead start a new search for the event.
  • FIXED - During the MVP screen on the stadium map, minor flickering and visual issues are present.
  • FIXED - Playlist name is missing when a player tries to reconnect to a previous match.
  • FIXED - When hovering over 1F, icons of operators, objective markers, and bomb sites are visible from 2F as a roulette wheel on the stadium map.
  • FIXED - Ubisoft Connect Weekly Challenges are not updated from “Terrorist Hunt” to the current title of “Training Grounds”.
