System requirements for Death Stranding - minimum and recommended specs

Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima's latest gaming experience, hits PC on July 14 and will be available for purchase on the Epic Games Store and Steam. If you're wondering if your PC will be able to handle Sam's adventures as it delivers weirdly large packages to remote locations in a strange world, you can find the recommended system requirements below.

Kojima Productions revealed three different sets of specs, depending on what resolutions and frame rates you want to achieve, but they don't define what you'll need for a 4k / 1440p / super wide screen.

Still, the information they gave us may lead to an educated guess that if you can run most modern games at your monitor's default resolution, you should be Death Stranding.

Minimum (720p, 30 frames per second)

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel® Core i5-3470 / AMD Ryzen 3 1200
  • RAM: 8 Go
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 1050 3 Go / AMD Radeon RX 560 4 Go
  • DirectX 12
  • Go 80

advisable (1080, 30FPS)

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4460 / AMD Ryzen 5 1400
  • RAM: 8 Go
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 Go / Radeon RX 570 4 Go
  • DirectX 12
  • Go 80

advisable(1080p, 60fps)

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-3770 / AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • RAM: 8 Go
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6 Go / AMD Radeon RX 590
  • DirectX 12
  • Go 80

Nothing on this list is really shocking given that the game was originally designed to run on a PlayStation 4, which is certainly lagging behind the average gaming PC right now.
