The Division 2 - How to use the Recalibration Library in Warlords of New York

The Recalibration Library is accessible at the Recalibration Station in both the White House and Haven.

The Division 2: Warlords of New York Recalibration Library is a new submenu of the Recalibration Station, and you see not only the attributes and talents you've stored, but also those you have left. accumulate. This is because the recalibration library now allows you to store rolls of material to use later when recalibrating your load. Level 1-30 gear has a separate library from level 31-40 gear, so keep that in mind when considering using the station.

Attributes and talents stored in the library can be used an unlimited number of times once banked, and they do not require any materials to register (however, rolling them into gear does). Each type of item in the game has a set number of base attributes, regular attributes, and talents (when compatible) displayed in the library, and these can all be entered into the library.

For starters, each item you pick up in The Division 2: Warlords of New York now has a meter below each stat that will indicate how good a roll is. Below this counter, an arrow will display what you have stored in your recalibration library. If you haven't saved this statistic yet, the arrow will be on the far left. Each stored stat is logged by item type, which means you'll see what is logged for that item - for example, weapon damage for SMGs.

If the arrow is at a point before the end of the counter, that item's stat is better than the one you banked. If the arrow exceeds a yard, the roll is worse than what you banked. The library itself will only highlight stats that can be upgraded and talents that haven't been banked yet, so you don't have to worry about filtering out every item to figure out what a upgrade for recalibration library.

If a statistic is highlighted in orange, it is a God Roll - ie one roll at most. The arrow will be all the way to the right, and unless you've already banked this God Roll for that specific item type, you can store it in the Recalibration Library. The arrow will be orange if you have a God roll for that stat in the library, and no arrows should appear on any God rolls you have already placed in the recalibration library.

Talents will have an icon under their icon to indicate that they have been banked, as simple as that. Again, this is done by item type, so if you've recorded Spiked from an SMG, you'll need to find an LMG with that talent if you want to roll it into your LMGs.

Once you have a stat or talent stored, they can be used to replace a similar roll on an item of the same type it was mined from. "Similar roll" meaning that base attributes can replace base attributes, attributes can replace other regular attributes, and talents swap with the existing talent (therefore, no swap of one attribute for a second talent, The Division 2 tries to maintain a semblance of "balance").

Gear mod slots can also be swapped in the Recalibration Station, but they do not need to be stored in the Recalibration Library to do so. Items can only have one thing traded, so if you trade the talent you won't be able to trade any other stats on it in the future. You can continue to replace this talent with other talents, but that's it. The same goes for the other rolls.

Exchanging a roll requires credits and materials; about 6k credits and 70 stacks. You'll want to save before you go crazy with recalibration, but it's not that prohibitive that you'll have to farm for hours to revive an item. By selling a small amount of loot and collecting as you explore both Warlords of New York and the base game, you will support your recalibration habit.

This is how the recalibration library works in The Division 2: Warlords of New York. Clear these hiding places and collect all the loot you find to fill your little Pokédex with foreskin. Aside from crafting perfect builds, loading the library with God Rolls and every talent should give endgame players a renewed sense of purpose while grinding.
