When to change class
That's actually a tricky one even if you've played Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE on Wii U before. Changing classes is an easy process and has many effects, but deciding when to do it is largely personal. On the one hand, each character can see their class change several times, which should alleviate the stress on the issue. Still, you'll want to know when to do it for the best result. The answer is to do it as soon as possible the first time it becomes available. This will increase your stats and unlock new carnage for that character. There's little to no downside to doing this, so triggering it as soon as you can will work best, but for future ones you might want to be more specific.
After the first class change, you'll want to know which class you actually want that character to be at the end. Don't skip that yet, instead use a different class saving the one you want them to use more often for later. Then whenever you have a choice to switch classes, do so until you unlock all the carnage you want. At the end of the game, you should be able to browse through all of the available classes, and then they'll be set up nicely for post-match content. How to change class
Class changes are unlocked after completing Chapter 4 of the Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE Encore main story. Once done, you can head to the Bloom Palace to complete the task. Talk to Tiki and you will see the option there. However, in order to do this you need Master Seals, a rare item acquired through campaign and side missions. The arena is also a great place to get them, so try to earn as many as you can so you can switch classes whenever you want. Once you've done that, do the above and you'll be all set.
