Warhammer Vermintide 2 , The Guide to All Enemies

Warhammer Vermintide 2 is definitely an excellent cooperative title, in which players will have to join forces to defeat the many enemies they encounter. But it often happens to be in front of a particular opponent who just does not want to die making us lose a lot of time or in front of a beast that seems to be unbeatable, and precisely for this reason we have written a practical guide to the monsters of Warhammer Vermintide 2 .

The Skavens

Clan rats, we'll find them everywhere.
Slaves, the hordes of these rats are always announced by the sound of a battle horn.
Stormvermin
Packmaster
Ratling
Flamethrower Warp
Assassin
Globardier
Plague Monk

The rat men boast not only a vast army, but also a highly advanced arsenal, such as powerful gatlings, big flamethrowers and much more, which can be a real pain in the ass, but fortunately we have listed below how to quickly kill every special enemy you find.

Stormvermin

These units are capable of inflicting a lot of damage and break the parry, in addition they are highly armored, and can only be shot down by weapons with armor penetration, if we use others we will see a red triangle, which indicates that we are not penetrating the armor, in which case we can always try with loaded attacks or we could hit the head and hope for a critical.

We can find them armed with spear or sword and shield, but the latter need extra attention, in fact their shield is unbreakable and the only way to defeat them is to hit them until they can no longer parry your blows, so we recommend you play ahead and kill them with ranged weapons.

Packmaster

He is a rat armed with a stick that ends with a hook, with which he can grab the neck of his victim doing continuous damage and dragging him away, finally he hangs it somewhere and waits until he loses consciousness.

Despite being very dangerous he is very easy to kill, and once he has grabbed someone he is an easy target.

Ratling

It is a Skaven equipped with a powerful gatling that shoots a shower of green bullets in front of it, comparable only with a shield. In excited situations if the Ratling is well positioned it can be fatal for the team, so it is best to shoot it down as soon as possible with a ranged weapon.

He's also slightly armored, so it can happen that a few close combat shots have no effect, but at close range he's totally defenceless.

Sackrat

When you start hearing "Mine! Mine!" here comes the Sackrat, which is basically a Skaven with a bag behind its back full of junk. Its goal is to get as far away from you as possible, but if you manage to kill it, it could drug you with items such as potions, bombs, cures or the loot nut, which will help you get a better reward at the end of the game.

Flamethrower Warp

Like the Ratling, this rat man is armed with a powerful weapon, capable of firing green short-range flames that go beyond even the shields.

He is also slightly armored but totally defenseless in hand-to-hand situations, however when he dies he can sometimes explode releasing a green patch on the ground that causes damage if touched.

Assassin

He's a dreaded Skaven who moves very fast jumping from place to place and can swoop down on any member of the team instantly inflicting damage until he is hit, but make sure you kill him when you catch him because if the damage is not lethal he will disappear and return shortly after.

Globardier

It's a very annoying unit that prefers to keep its distance and throw poisonous bombs that create a green cloud that inflicts damage on those inside.

But anyway it's without defensive weapons or armor, so killing it is very easy.

Plague Monk

Dreadful enemies recognizable by the green tunic they wear. The speed with which they strike one after the other is impressive and their attack does not stop when they are hit.

So it is advisable to continue to parry until their combo ends, or you can interrupt them with a loaded attack.

Chaos

Marauder
Chaos Warrior
Sorcerer
Rotblood

The other enemy in Vermintide 2 is the Chaos, which has a huge number of acolytes at its disposal. The units that comprise this army are much more resilient and armored than those of the Skaven and in addition to base units like the Marauders can field very tough special units.

Chaos Warrior

A huge colossus armed with a mighty axe and totally protected by an impenetrable heavy armor. At higher difficulties a blow from the Chaos Warrior, if not parried, can also kill instantly.

To beat this enemy, you need to have weapons with Armor Penetration or very powerful ranged weapons in case you don't want to get close.

There is also a version without armor of this beast that is more common to find.

Berserker

Very similar to the Monks of the Plague, they are also very fast and resistant despite not having armor.

You can defeat them in the same way.

Sorcerer

A fat character who wanders around the characters but always keeping his distance generating whirlwinds of magic that throw us around doing damage and consuming energy.

Moreover, if hit, he can teleport to another place and continue with his attacks.

Rotblood

Similar to the Sorcerer in constitution but with the difference that he can trap those in front of him until he loses consciousness.

He too can teleport if necessary.

The bosses

Ratogre
Stormfiend
Biliare Troll
Chaos Aberration

In the missions we will not only find units, which alone can complicate life, but in certain situations may happen to be faced with one of the huge bosses, which, if you do not know how to deal with them, may determine the end of the game. Many of their blows inevitably break the defence and cause a lot of damage.

Ratogre

The mighty and strong Ratogre is the fastest boss of all, he makes huge jumps that usually end up on some unlucky hero throwing him away.

The best way to defeat him is to dodge and avoid being thrown in the air, because if he throws us into the vacuum we will die instantly. In the team it would be very useful to have a tank that can attract his attention, while the other companions inflict damage.

Stormfiend

He is also a Ratogre, but much slower, probably because he has two warp flamethrowers on both arms, with which he creates a column of green fire that does continuous damage over time and that persists for a few seconds.

Being also slightly armored he is a little more resistant than the previous boss and also sometimes will reach places inaccessible to the team and can only be hit by ranged weapons. But luckily he's got an extra weak spot over his head, which will guarantee a critic if hit, and that's behind his back, where that little brain rat sits.

Biliare Troll

Perhaps it is one of the most fearsome bosses, who knows the universe of Warhammer knows well that with a troll is no joke, because in addition to being very strong they also have regenerative abilities and can spit a powerful acid that dissolves anything.

To beat it is essential not to get vomited on, because in addition to doing a lot of damage will slow us down considerably, even if for a short time. In addition, it is necessary to have a good overall damage, since the regenerative properties of the troll allow him to quickly recover his health. Especially when he suffers a lot of damage he will kneel down and instead of the missing health will appear a yellow bar, which, when he gets up, will make him recover life. To avoid this when faced with this situation we must inflict as much damage as possible to cancel that bar, it is preferable to hit him on the head.

Chaos Aberration

A boss who, if not shot down quickly, can keep team members in check for a long time. Because, in addition to being, very strong and resistant, he can use his tentacle to grab one of the heroes and eat him, regaining the missing health.

To kill it in the shortest possible time you must avoid its attacks with the tentacle, generally we recommend to dodge to the left because the tentacle will come to you from the right. But in case someone gets caught you can always throw bombs to stun the boss or use the special skill of Markus Mercenary or Knight and Viktor Witch Hunter that will have the same effect.
