What is the release time of the Heart of Deimos expansion for Warframe?

Warframe's Heart of Deimos expansion will arrive in-game later today. If you are wondering exactly what time it will be released, the bad news is that there is no set time right now, as is always the case with Warframe. The good news is that the game is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One at the same time today. Unfortunately for NinTennos out there, it won't be hitting the Switch until later this week.

So why is it good news that the new expansion is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One at the same time? PC gamers will be well aware that part of the fun of any new day of content is watching Warframe Director Steve Sinclair stream on Twitch in the run-up to release. Sinclair normally provides a running commentary on how things are going as the team puts the finishing touches on the version that's about to go live.

This makes it pretty hard to know exactly when it will be released, but that shouldn't be a problem this time around. The release version will already be finished, we assume, because it will have taken the certification on the consoles. As such, we hope to see new content become available someday. between 10 a.m. PT and 11 a.m. PT, which is the time that Warframe updates typically arrive on consoles.

Heart of Deimos will be introduced to a new open world in the form of the hidden moon Deimos, which has been overrun by a new type of infested threat. It will also include the new community-designed Xaku Warframe, as well as a new player experience that will hopefully make the early parts of the game more accessible to neophyte Tenno. Even more exciting is the introduction of the Helminth system, which will allow us to infuse new abilities into our Warframes.
