Control's AWE expansion wouldn't be complete without a few hidden locations to discover. Finding these secret areas is a way to earn Ability Points, obtain Service Weapons or Personal Mods, and unlock an Achievement or Trophy.
There are five hidden locations, although you only need to find four to get the achievement or trophy. If you're having trouble finding them all, allow us to step in and help.
Abandoned offices
The first secret location is here. Find the sign for drop off and processing, and head left when you reach it. There is a desk in front of you, so go in and look for a gray wall to your right. You'll know it's the right one if there's a light above a filing cabinet.
Use your Push ability to knock down the wall. After a few attempts, a giant hole will be made in the wall which uncovers a hidden area. Head inside to collect your rewards and feed the plant for one of Ahti's upkeep side missions.
Observation deck
The next hidden location is in the observation deck room. You have to go down an elevator shaft to get to Lower Access. Before doing so, look to the left for another elevator shaft hidden behind some boxes. Go down here to find another hidden area.
Lower access
Go to the turntable room from the lower access control point. Go down and push back all the Hiss enemies that appear. Once they're dealt with, head inside a door labeled Bridge Operator. There is darkness on the ground, so you will know this is the right way to go.
This door leads to the traveling office area. Instead of following the path, turn and levitate up the small staircase. You will see a golden colored mod box, which will unlock the hidden location of that area.
Eagle Limited AWE
From the Eagle Limited AWE entry checkpoint, proceed to another turntable room. Kill any enemies of Hiss that appear. Once you have, face the turntable so that the carriage on the rails is to your right. If you haven't fallen yet, you'll be heading in the right direction.
Go down and turn to look at the wall behind you. Use your Push ability to break the wall. Head inside but, before you drop, grab the light on your right. This passage is dark, so use the light to see where you are going to get your rewards.
AWE Transit Bay
The last hidden location is on the way to this checkpoint. From the Eagle Limited AWE Room, make your way to the Shifted Passage. Avoid the Astral Spike by heading towards the office on your left.
Go for it and go down to avoid it if it comes back towards you. Lower the wall right in front of you and go inside. Platform over the staggered landscape until you drop into a room with a mod box. You can turn on the radio here for a special musical surprise, and knock down another wall to find another secret location that houses the clock puzzle.
