Windows 7 went from 22,77% to 20,41%, a slice of the population far too high for an operating system that no longer even receives security updates.

According to some tests done by BleepingComputer, Microsoft still allows the free upgrade of Windows 7 to Windows 10 using the Media Creation Tool. The license is automatically converted to a digital one and linked to your Microsoft account. Once the license has been converted, you can reinstall Windows 10 or upgrade your hardware without having to pay for a new license Microsoft.

It is therefore really interesting (not to say shocking) that Windows 7 is still the second most used operating system in the world given the huge strides made by Windows 10, the great feedback that Microsoft's latest OS receives from most users. and the fact that the update is still free to date.

We do not know how long the company will allow to take advantage of this update system, however we advise you to take advantage of it before it's too late!

Do you need a Windows 10 Pro license for your brand new gaming PC? On Amazon it is available for only 9,90 euros, do not miss it.
