Automatically lock your PC using a Bluetooth device
If your PC is equipped with a Bluetooth chip and you have a smartphone, connected watch or any other device equipped with Bluetooth, did you know that there is an option in Windows 10 to automatically lock your machine when you and your device move out of reach? To activate it, nothing could be simpler:
- Go to the control panel, where you just have to type “dyna” in the search to bring up “Dynamic locking” and click on it (or else go to “Account” > “Login options”);
- There, check the box “Allow Windows to automatically lock your device when you are away”;
- If it is not already done, you will have to finish selecting or associating the Bluetooth device of your choice.
