There are a lot of new things to do in Borderlands 3 for the next few weeks with the introduction of Bloody Harvest. This is a new part of the game's content, accessible to everyone. You will not have to pay to have access to this very important event. There are 15 new challenges for players to complete in connection with this event. You are going to find ghosts all over the galaxy. These particular creatures either don't spawn in a specific location or have a decent respawn time. Meeting them is random. For example, the first time I met one was when I started Bloody Harvest and entered the Devil's Hole. It was at the entrance. I killed it and expected to find another one quite quickly afterwards, but was disappointed to learn that it was taking a lot longer than that.
You are also looking for a unique aura. You will notice that the enemies you fight now have a strange green glow to their general appearance. This aura means that they are haunted by a particular ghost. A majority of them will have a green aura, while others, more powerful, will have a red aura, indicating that they are a dirty face.
Loot Ghosts, however, have a distinct orange glow. If you see an enemy with an orange, almost golden aura, it means they are haunted by a loot ghost. Take the person out quickly and when the ghost appears, they will be a distinct yellow color. Take it out too, and when it dies it will spawn a bunch of loot.
The challenge with these enemies is the Hektoplasm An Eye for Quality. Players have to kill around 20 loot ghosts to complete it. The best way to locate them? Explore the galaxy and find the best locations for many enemies to manifest. Porta Prison and Lectra City are excellent for this, and players can explore their ideal farming areas to get there.
