The Takedown at the Guardian Breach has been added to Borderlands 3, which gives us a new endgame challenge to complete. Gearbox touts the enemies we'll face during the Guardian Breach as much more difficult than anything we've come across before, so be sure to bring your strongest builds and best weapons with you.

To start the new Takedown you will need to download the update first, but it should happen automatically when you load your launcher. When it's done, log in and head to Tannis in the infirmary. This can be found upstairs on The Sanctuary III. She'll contact you on your Echo to let you know she wants you. When you enter the infirmary, you will see a glowing blue crystal on the shelf across the room. Go interact, then tap Accept.

To start the Takedown at Guardian Breach you will need to head to Minos Prime, so go to the front of the ship where the navigation console is located and choose Minos Prime from the menu. When you get there, Tannis will tell you to use a drop pod to rise to the surface and that will start the event.

Be careful, however, as a sect of rogue guardians has taken over the planet, and they won't look kindly at you. The good news is that the difficulty will be tailored to your party size, so if you're a single player, you can always jump in and enjoy the new content. You'll also need to have completed the story, so any new players who are still working on the main storyline will need to wrap up before they can participate.
