Can you drive the loot train in Call of Duty: Warzone?

A new feature added to Call of Duty: Warzone is a train. Many players will call it the Loot Train due to the stack of boxes along its back. If you land in the loot train, you can unlock the many orange and blue boxes to give you and your teammates valuable gear for the rest of the game right from the start. However, other players will try to do the same and you can expect them to fall from the sky at the start of the match in an attempt to take it for themselves. Once you've freed the train and it's just your crew, can you drive or control it anyway?

From what we have seen, the answer is no. You can drive it without a problem, but driving is another matter. When you try to get to the front of the train, it's a black painted structure that you can't seem to get into. Without access to the driver's seat, you have no way of controlling the speed of the train. It also follows the trails that run through town, so there's no way to give it proper direction or choose where to go, from what we've seen. This may change in the future where players have the option to dictate which route the train takes. But overall, while the loot train has a similar icon on the map to other vehicles, you can't control it.

How do you take care of it? You and your team must decide to protect her as she guides you through the Verdansk map. Unfortunately, since it follows a separate path, you can bet that being there puts a target on your back for other players to try and hit. You can expect players to bring heavy vehicles to try and get you out because they want the loot on the train. Maybe one or two of your teammates can jump off the train to grab vehicles to help you out, but you might be better off grabbing the loot and then jumping to the side to explore the rest of the map.
