Conclusions

Google has always been known to track our every move. From videos watched on YouTube to simple web searches. What many probably don't know is that we can visualize what the company has collected. All this is possible thanks to MyActivity. It is a service that groups all the activities carried out within the Google system.

The service was developed to provide users with a complete overview of their activities. In this guide we will see how to get rid of all this information.

MyActivity: how to delete what Google knows about us

MyActivity allows you to permanently delete all information that we do not want to be saved. What the service aims at is the amount of data to be sold to advertisers in a completely anonymous form. But what exactly does it track? This service keeps track of three main types of data.

The first concerns all of ours research, videos watched and ads viewed. The second concerns all emails sent, photos published and contacts added. While the last concerns the personal informations such as name, email, password and date of birth.

Of all these types of data, MyActivity focuses more on the former. Google keeps track of every search we have made. Based on this information, it suggests suitable ads and search results to us. However we can disable this feature and delete almost all data.

How to delete information

To do this we must first go to the myactivity.google.com website. On this site we can see all the information that Google has collected about us.

To delete the information, click on the left panel Delete activity for. At the bottom Delete by date of the new screen, we select Everlasting in the drop-down menu. We then select All the products. Finally we click on Delete.

Once this is done, we will have deleted all the information that Google has collected about us. If, on the other hand, we want to completely disable this function, click on Activity management. In the screen that will appear we will have to disable each service by moving the toggle from On ad off.

By doing this we will have the possibility to disable the individual services that do not interest us and to leave the others enabled.

Conclusions

This service, therefore, collects all information about our activities and shares it with third parties in a completely anonymous form. It will be up to you to decide whether or not to disable this service.
