What are chipsets?
Chipsets are unusual tradable items described in-game as “nano chips” that are earned when a player improves the rank of a bunker. When a Guardian redeems a chipset in a Seraph bunker, the power of Rasputin's network is increased to levels optimal for that bunker. This gives players additional rewards, and traditionally it bolsters the defenses of the Last Town, which must be protected from the almighty spaceship that encroaches in Season 10.
How to get chipsets
There are two different ways that players can earn chipsets. The first way to get chipsets is to upgrade the currently active Seraph Bunker, where each bunker level upgrade from 1-3 offers 1-4 chipsets (1 chipset for each level 1 upgrade, 2 chipsets for each level 2 upgrade and 4 chipsets for each level 3 upgrade). The second method is to purchase a stack of 7 chipsets directly from Rasputin in the currently active bunker. Players can purchase a specific 7 Chipset Bunker Stack in the Rasputin Bunker Upgrade tab for the following materials:
- 500 bits de Warmind
- 5 legendary shards
- 5000 glow
The hardest part of buying chipsets will be accumulating Warmind Bits, but players who upgrade their bunker level by following the guides for the EDZ, Moon, and Io Bunkers will have an easier time farming Warmind Bits in activities that grant them, like Legendary Lost Sectors. Players can also get Warmind Bits from Seraph Tower Public Events, where successful completion of a Public Event can grant 10 player Warmind Bits, while chess only grants 4 Warmind Bits.
There are many other activities throughout the game that can grant Warmind Bits, which players can farm and save to purchase Chipsets and upgrade Rasputin's Seraph Bunkers to their maximum level.
