Google Play, now apps are shared with loved ones

    After months of waiting and chatting even Google has decided to embrace a format which is increasingly successful among users: that of share on favorable terms the contents between members of the same family unit.

    This is how it was born "Family collection" on Google Play: this is a new service that allows you to sharing between members of the same family apps, games, movies, books and shows purchased on Google Play, as long as these belong to the plan.



    Each user will have the opportunity to add up to five additional members family and to choose which apps (and content) to keep private in your personal collection and which ones to share.

    Besides, it will be possible define a single card to purchase from, however each of the added members will still have the option to pay with your card (or other payment method) and also buy apps to keep for yourself.

    All purchases made through the "Family Library" will be accessible from Android, iOS and the web. The service, which kicks off today in some countries including the city, provides for free registration and does not include additional costs on purchased content.

    At the same time, Google has also made available in the city the family plan for Google Play Music which provides, at a cost of € 15 per month, allow listening to music content for a total of 6 family members.
