How photo mode works in Ghost of Tsushima

There is no doubt that one of the greatest Ghost of Tsushima as a game is the visual element. From wild beasts to stunning landscapes, even a digital world can feel a bit breathtaking. So having a photo mode in the game was a no-brainer, but the way it has been integrated into this game is even better than we could have imagined. Here's how Tsushima's Ghost photo mode works.

Unlike some other titles, you don't need to go through multiple steps or third-party add-ons to use it. To activate the photo mode, simply click on the right button of the directional pad. You will get instant access to access a menu that allows you to set aspects such as time of day, depth of field, wind speed, color quality, and stamps.

Photos like the thumbnail, taken by Dan Ryckert, really use the majesty of the color shade option. While others may be more drawn to the lighting and wind options. This mode really allows players to create a unique photo.

There is also an option to make a short video if you want to see some of the wind or weather in action, or direct the camera to pan / zoom at a landscape, animal, or character.

Once you've got those things sorted out and taken your photo or video, press right on the directional pad again, and you'll immediately exit and return to the gameplay. This allows for a unique immersion in the Eu universe, where rocking back and forth taking photos adds to the feel of the game, rather than taking you out of the experience.
