- TIM: the PIN is not present and the user will be asked to set one immediately after the first access to the voicemail box.
- Vodafone: The default code for accessing your voicemail is 123456.
- Wind: The default PIN for voicemail access is 1111.
- Three, Fastweb e Iliad: The default code for accessing your voicemail is 1234.
As you will discover shortly, the answering machine can be turned on, off and verified using greed speciali made available by the operators. Using them is very simple: if you are on a smartphone or tablet with a cellular module, you have to open the dialer (i.e. the manual dialing screen), key in the specific code for the required function and press the button to start the phone call. Once you have requested the activation of the voicemail, you can activate the voicemail by giving codes to the landline phone, exactly as if you wanted to make a phone call. Below I show you which ones to use for the various needs.

If you want to know how to activate the fixed Vodafone answering machine, all you have to do is access the configuration panel of the Vodafone Station, by connecting to the address http://vodafone.station or http://192.168.1.1 when you are connected to the home network, and then go to the section Phone> Settings.
You can listen to messages received on the answering machine by calling the number 41010 directly from the landline. The service is included free of charge in the Vodafone tariff plans dedicated to fixed telephony. More info here.
How to activate the Wind answering machine
The telephone answering service Wind for mobile lines it is available on all SIM cards belonging to the operator; the activation of the transfer of calls to the voicemail box is completely free, however consultation of the same (at the number 4200) is paid and has a cost of €0,124. Furthermore, by calling 4200 you have the possibility to change the PIN to access the voicemail, the welcome message and so on.

With regard to the Fastweb landline, you can conveniently activate the answering machine through the dedicated section of the MyFastPage. The activation of the service is free, as is the call to the voicemail (to the number 4141), however there is a variable monthly cost based on the tariff plan active on your line.
To enable the voicemail box on your Fastweb landline, you must go to the appropriate area of MyFastPage, click on the appropriate link dedicated to the purchase of the service (attached to the section Voice mail) and follow the instructions proposed on the screen to finalize everything and associate an email address to which to receive notifications.
Once the service has been activated, you can enable the call forwarding to the voicemail box at any time by making a "call" from a landline to one of the codes that I illustrate below.
